Too late for him to do anything but go with the flow. Let his wife tell the truth, support her when all H E double hockey sticks break loose and after the dust has settled or even before whisk his Mishti off to Kolkata for a fresh beginning.

Of course, this is not going to happen else the story will come to a standstill with no more tadka added to the already simmering storyline so lets wait patiently for the CVs to play some more havoc with our emotions.
