They started with passions roaring high and sparks flying at the briefest of touches, then moved on to both affectionate glances and unreasonable spats... He unconsciously flirted with her but deep down without any of them realising it, their hearts had struck a chord and she vowed to share his pashchataap and he resolved to not give up. She ridiculed him and earned secret smiles and when the heat got soaring again, he leaned close and touched her softly...
And now, today they have reached that beautiful phase that is often craved for so much! Like a calm lull that follows a loud storm, this is a culmination of something hardly imaginable yet oddly comfortable... this relationship which is deeper than friendship and rooted into love, this sweet transition where he can speak to her, and she to him, and disclose what they yearn the most and what they fear the most and the mutual respect each has for their parents...
For even though they may decide to not get married, he knows he can still hold her dupatta for her and can still allow his heart to steal a glance... a journey they were all set to call off, yet showing the utmost care and the sweetest attention.
