Its ineresting to know that lot of Nach Baliye couples are not actually husband wife. But they are staying together and participating as couple openly and no one has any objections to that.

What about our indian culture ? I live in usa and I still have image of india same as I left. Its hard to believe society changed so much.

just to share my thought, i will love to hear more from other members on this.

are you talking about the NB1 couples??? or both??
all the couples in NB2 are married except Arjun-Gurip (they are engaged), Tanaaz-Bakhtiyaar (they canceled their wedding but they are still together) and Narayani-Gaurav (they recently broke up after long years of staying together 😭 )...

well desi babe i live in delhi and quite a few of my friends are in live in relationships... so yes things are changing but not at a very rapid rate. for eg. i know a couple who's been committed to each other for almost 8 years now and are still going strong. they don't believe in the institution of marriage so are not married. But finding a house to stay and neighbours who do not ask questions is very difficult for them.
Also indian culture is very diverse... in our past we've had polygamous (more than one wife) marriages, polyandrous (more than one husband) marriages and matriarchal (kids taking the surname of the mother) societies, as recently as upto the 19th century. For eg. in Kerela women married different men and the kids were known by their mother's name, a practice which was changed by the British when they colonised India. thus indian culture is far more plural and accomodating than the way we understand it.
As for Narayani Gaurav, its sad that things didn't work out for them. Hope they find happiness, whether together or apart.

I being born and bread in UK,,, I would say india is 100% more advance than most of us here (from wht av seen n heard). I would not dare to tell my parents about my boyfriend-until im serious about marriage- or even if i was hangin out with "male" friends.. its hards to believe how much india has changed, its more western, maybe thats why im dissatisfiesd, i liked the old india our parents gave examples off....
