It would be more fun to discuss (regardless of results) if we could stop the personal attacks and just stick to the facts. Ultimately, for all the time we devote to NB, we are the real losers. Both the channelwallahs and the jodis are raking in the moolah.

I agree with what u have said....but a point that was previously made by ssumone in the discussion is....why only GHT....doesnt everyone realsie that TB were very bad and all jodis were compared to them....who were not in bottom two this week....SO why may i ask not discuss how the ycud score such great votes and SM noto while out performing everyone past week....Why shud we single a particular jodi out....they got votes and were in bottom two while Sm shud have been in top to SC....but they were not due to other jodi who did not perform well in past week

exactly GHt were in bottom 2 ......BUT OTHER JODIS who did not perform better than SM were safe before them....WHY??? Shudnt there be a worry why SM were not given votes....instead dof all those votes been given to other who performed worse than SM in regional

Dont ask me this ....ask the people who also voted for other jodis...instead of voting for SM.....u cant blame GHT for get a few votes more than SM.....if everyone hwo votes for TB,HT,YG desopite SM being better than them and letting them get to SC had voted instead to SM maybe this wudnt have happened...considering they were top in that regional....

The way I understand the NB format is that they place the couple in the bottom 2 based on their present performances (and not last week's) and combine it with the last week votes. Both HG and MS having scored low were at the bottom two. The sad part is that the couple who were more talented got eliminated. Since the channel never gives us the actual no. of votes, it is hard to know if they got eliminated through a narrow margin. The only thing it tells us (and that is true for most reality shows) that public votes are based only on emotion and has got nothing to do with talent.

So GHT fans, others are not against you per se....they are feeling bad that through this unfair voting somehow we as Indians are endorsing that talent and hard work doesn't pay off.

cant say for future, but both Yash- gauria nd Tanaz Bakhtiyar had received some slack last two episodes and they got lucky and one bad performance and MS are out. Wow!

This does not make any sense. The audience voted after the Nov 20 show to decide who would be voted out. The audience has not even seen the solo performances, so how can you say that they voted for the better couple overall. How can the audience base their vote on a performance that they have not seen yet? Nov 20 Shweta and Manav did a much better job than Hiten and Gauri. The judges said it was Hiten and Gauri's worst performance in the show. So obviously it can be seen that it is still a popularity contest and the scoring does not matter. That is why Hiten and Gauri are still in the competition and Shweta and Manav have been voted out.

i completely agree.......i am not against any of the jodis & i don't mean to offend anyone.....but the fact remains that Manav - Shweta are much better dancers than Hiten & Gauri & they do not deserve to be voted out...........but still i can't analyse everything until i see the full performance.....

though I said that I would analyze S-M performance once I've seen the episode (as it could attributed to judges irregularity in points, other factors, or just a bad performance from Shweta K), still I would like to share some stuff over their exit. I also believe this may clear some confusion about rules, etc., that I've seen on the forum

• There was no contestant voting each other out. Exit was based solely on current week's (solo round's) judges' points and past week's (regional round's) audience votes

• S-M got 48 total (Manav 30 and Shweta 18) and G-H got 48 too (24 each)

• S-M and G-H were in the danger zone. S-M were voted out. Both couples had equal judges scores for this week, but S-M fell behind because they got less audience votes for regional round. This is so annoying, that a lot of audience didn't vote for them in the round where they performed so well on the north-eastern dance style. i would also consider this to be S-M's bad luck. Y-G, B-T and H-G got lucky, coz there were no eliminations in the past two episodes, when these 3 didn't do well....M-S on the other hand did so well in choreo choice and regional...but alas, there were not exits...and one day when shweta k supposedly didn't do well, they got out 😔

• Now why did they fall behind in audience votes?? I had posted the following possible reasons in another thread, and I am copying some excerpts below.

there could be two reasons for that -- both have played usually negative characters on TV (shweta was pallavi in kahani ghar ghar ki and eesha in kkusum...manav played the scheming dr siddharth in ayushman and a suspicious husband dhruv in kahani terri merri)....now i believe a lot of viewers see soap stars as an extension of their reel images, in real life, which they usually are not....another reason could be that their current shows are also not very popular (since they don't really feature in some drama soaps on air currently)..

these could be probable reasons for them being less of a favorite and getting less votes too 😭

i guess it would be unfair to blame the fewer number of S-M fans in India for not voting properly... after all , we cannot expect them to go bankrupt voting for S-M...

also, S-M got lesser votes because they were not very popular, and not because they were unpopular...see dictionary for the difference in case you don't know...

coolfire, hope you read this sometime...our hopes of Hussain-Manav jugalbandi in finals are so shattered 😭 😭 😭....all i can hope now is that S-M rock in the final episode, and Manav gets the Best Male performer (Varun got it last time)
