But my point is that this is more an ensemble show. I don't see how the Doctor triangle can work for Dastaan. They've already changed stuff for the Hindi market. They couldn't have the protagonist Meera the same as the Bengali version of her character. It wouldn't have gone down well.
So, why would the triangle go down well?
So if there's no triangle, that means the doctor will be another important character not a main lead, because the story's not revolving around him as a triangle.
Look at the how the screentime is divided amongst the whole cast, as well as the three people shown in the montages now. Another add on (whether it be the doctor, or love interest to Nandini) would not be a main lead. But rather another important character.
If the Zee show he's talking about Dastaan, it would be a mistake on part of the show.
