@ chitsri65: Loved your post.
I just cannot understand why the rush for a pv. The decision should be SP's for when he is ready. He lost a wife he was married to for 30 yrs and I find it very unfair and selfish of Arti and Yash to go ahead and discuss SP's PV with the society.Had SP expressed desire to remarry then I could have understood their decision but right now they are behaving ridiculous.Yash himself worshipped Arpita for 4 yrs before agreeing to marry Aarti. Is he saying that his love for Arpita was more meaningful than SP's love for Gayatri?Let's assume the society agrees for pv, how do they intend to make SP agree to it? How will Radha feel that SP is being forced to marry her?As a matter of fact, SP and Radha's affair ended a long time ago. Is SP supposed to recall whatever lust he had for Radha and marry her now?And the audacity of Yash and Aarti to not even discuss the pv with Pankaj and Prateek is unbelievable. If they want the happiness and unity of the family to stay in tact, then they need to treat everyone equally and stop dictating to the family and imposing their decisions on themAs far as if the PV should take place, then my answer is only when and if SP feels he wants another wife, he only should decide on who he wants to marry. After all, at his age, when will the time to sing songs and fall in love take place. He needs to choose the partner he wants for himself.Suppose they discover that SP had another affair with a different woman, should SP marry her also?
