Chapter 12:Kyun Dard hain itna
Aakash comes running to Arnav and tells him that Khushi left the party but was not in good condition. He apologizes to Aakash and goes outside, Khushi is nowhere to be seen, he calls out Khushi's name but gets no reply. In Aakash's party Ratna too arrives (Arnav's mom, some of the readers are still confused). She congratulates Aakash and goes to find Sheetal, Sheetal is in the same room where Arnav left her, Ratna scolds Sheetal for taking rash descision and not consulting her before she met Khushi. She tells her that she is planning every thing meticulously that Khushi would have been out of Arnav's life but she took the matter in hand and messed every thing. Sheetal loks at the door shockingly when Ratna notices that and she turns to find Arnav there. He comes near to them, Sheetal tries to talk to him but he does not listen to her, he starts scolding his mother, he tells her how could she be so low and would do something like this to Khushi who always respected her and took her every wrath without any complain. Ratna tries to pacify him by telling him whatever she did was for his happiness and well being. For which he replies that his happiness is within Khushi as he loves her and due to two of them Khushi has gone some where he does not know, she is out there alone confused where to go as she does not know this place, he threatens them if something happens to Khushi he will never forgive her and she will never she him again.
Arnav worriedly reaches home but Khushi isn't there. He goes to Anjali's room where she was reading, when she sees Arnav all worried, she asks him what is the matter. Arnav explains everything to her. Then Anjali calls some of their friends and inquires about Khushi , but no one knows whereabouts of Khuhsi. Then Anjali remembers their church group and tells Arnav about it. After taking the address he goes to the church and finds Khuhsi sobbing uncontrollably. He goes near to her,
"How dare you Khushi? How could you do this to me? Do you even realize what I am going through?" he holds Khushi and makes her face him, he looks at her and hugs her tightly as if there is no tomorrow..."never do this to me Khushi, I can't bear loosing you, from childhood I am loosing someone I love but I won't be able to survive if I loose you, you are the one who has given me a reason to go on with my life, never leave me"

Arnav looks at Khushi's face wipes her tears and hugs her again.
Tomorrow morning Arnav is watching Khushi sleep when she opens her eyes. She asks him what he is looking, he flatters her by telling he is just thinking how lucky he is to wake up every morning beside her. She shies out and Arnav hugs her. In the breakfast table Arnav hands a packet to Khushi, Khushi opens it, its a mobile phone. Arnav tells her if any situation like yesterday came again he can be in touch with her. Anjali too tells Khushi not to do this again as she was worried to death. Khushi promises not to leave their side. When Arnav leaves for office Ratna comes to visit, she is fumimg in anger and badmouth Khushi, Khushi tries to be calm and tells her that she and Arnav married under unfavourable condition but eventually they have fallen for each other, instead of being angry she need to be happy for his son happiness but Ratna is immune to these things. Anjali tries to pacify her but she storms out of their home. Anjali tells Khushi not to be sad as mothers come across and she will one day full heartedly accept her as her daughter-in-law. To cheer Khushi she proposes to go to shopping, in shopping mall Anjali's water breaks and she is rushed to the hospital, all the family memeber come even Shyam comes there, Arnav tries to throw him out but Khushi says he is the father so let him be, Shyam lovingly carries his child and apologises with Anjali for his past behaviour and beg her to take him in. He also tells how Khushi always updated their status to him, he also confessess that he had stopped drinking from few months. Anjali tells him she will take some time to forgive him but she is very happy with his progress.
Arnav thanks Khushi for doing all this to his sister. Khushi tells him it would have been troublesome for Anjali if she had continued with this marriage of no hope but Shyamji is not that bad, he had situation which led him to do that, he is repenting. Arnav tells her that he does not care about the situation but he sees his siter happy that is enough for him. After Anjali is discharged she tells Arnav that she wants to go to her home with her husband, Arnav initially does not like the idea but eventually agrees. Khushi visits them daily with food and takes care of the baby due to which she doesnot give much time to Arnav which irritates him. Arnav realises that these past days were tiresome for both Khushi and himself so he plans a honeymoon. He plans to visit Japan (its spring there and the cherry blossom is die to watch for). Firstly Khushi does not agree as Anjali will be alone in this condition but Anjali tells her to go so she agrees.
Next day they fly to japan. Its cold and Khushi rubs her hand, seeing this Arnav takes Khushi's hand in his hand and blow vapour to warm it. Arnav have booked a "Ryokan" (its a traditional japenese style guesthouse; although many people can stay rich people will book whole house for himself). Khushi and Arnav reaches their place to stay and they take warm Japanese bath (nothing special its a steam bath), after that they go for some dinner, they eat sushi, rice ball, and to warm themself they eat "Sukiyaki"(hotpot) and they drink some local japanese wine. It was first time for Khushi to drink wine she gets wasted early and Arnav takes her to bed. He thinks of doing something but she falls asleep. Tomorrow morning Arnav complains that she slept early so she promises him that she will not fall asleep and do whatever he likes. In the day they vist nearby park and admire the cherry blossom. Khushi is not wearing usual kurta salwar as per Arnav wish she is wearing a short skirt and jacket. Arnav could not control himself and he kisses Khushi. They passsionately mingle into each other, Arnav leaves her and looks at Khushi's face which is all red due to shyness. And continues with his act.
Later in the night after dinner, they watch some Japanese folk dance through out Arnav holds Khushi's hands. Khushi have adorned her body with a black saree with silver border. Today Arnav is a little intoxicated. When they reach their room, Khushi tries to switch on the light but Arnav stops her, he let her pallu fall down. He holds Khushi from backside and gives feathery kisses on her neck, shoulder and arms. He makes Khushi face him and kisses her forehead, eyes, cheeks and lips. He carries her to the bed. They make love and finally consummate their marriage. After the love making the window suddenly opens and enters the chill wind. Khuhsi is lying next to Arnav making Arnav's arm as her pillow shivers, Arnav stands up and closes the window and ask if any thing is wrong, if she is ok, Khushi says that she is a little scared; so much of happiness at once, she says that she is afraid if this is a dream, if someone will wake her from this. Arnav comes near to her and plant a kiss on her forehead. He promises her she will never worry about happiness as it is here to stay and they start their another session of love making.
Next day, Khushi notices something strange, all the birds falling down in the ground and dogs making noises. She tells that to Arnav but he ignores they go to a shopping mall. When they are in a crystal shop, Khushi stops to watch a crystal piece and Arnav is in the cash counter she notices all the glass pieces is shaking and a glass window near her breaks down, every one starts running, Arnav too feels the tremor he cries Khushi's name but Khuhsi is too shocked to move, Arnav runs to her and catches her hand to run but the building cracks down, Arnav hands separates from Khushi's and the side of Khushi's building collapses with Khushi, Arnav slides to other side...
