Chapter 13: Fairytale Romance
once upon a time, there was beauty in a rag. Her name was Khushi Kumari Gupta. Once when she went to the woods to collect some firewood she went a bit too far, there she saw a palace. She yearned of being a princess. But she was unaware that the palace has a deep dark secret. The queen of the palace was an evil sorceress, how ever she had a son, the only goodness left of her. The good prince name was Arnav Singh Raizada. But it was prophecised that the girl prince will fall in love will be cause of the Queen's destruction. So she ordered all the girls of her kingdom either to be exiled or to be murdered. He was also not allowed to go to the forest alone.
But this was such a fateful day, Arnav went for hunting with his friends when he came across Khushi. Although in rags Khushi's beauty was heavenly, the prince fell for her instantly. Khushi not allowed to talk to strangers but she was attracted to the handsome prince. They begin to meet often and their love was blooming. One day Arnav put his desire of marrying Khushi infront of his mother, the queen was too surprised and her worst nightmare became true. She agreed for marriage but wished to meet the girl. She made a plan to kill Khushi by poisoning a sweet made up of flour fryed and dipped in poisonous sugary syrup which was also Khushi's favourite sweet.
When Arnav and Queen reach Khuhsi's home, Khuhsi's mother was the old maid of the palace, she was well aware of Queens plan so she denied Khushi to eat any thing brought by the queen and accused the queen of wanting to kill Khushi because of the prophecy. Arnav denies to listen ill about his mother but the maid proves it by giving the sweet to a cat who in turns dies instantly. Betrayed Arnav denies too even look at his mother and decides to stay with Khushi. The marriage date is fixed, heartbroken Queen seek for revenge, she makes her final plan. She knew this was a true love so wherever in the Earth she will send Khushi, Arnav will find her so she thought of sending Khushi under to No man's land. She gate crash Arnav and Khushi's marriage, she freezes every one including Arnav into ice and takes away Khushi, she cracks open the ground. Arnav cracks open the ice with his sword and when he throws the sword at the Queen inorder to stop her, she stumbles in it and Khushi falls, while falling Khushi grab the locket of the queen which breaks and the queen looses her every magic power; Arnav tries to catch her but she slips away into the deep dark pit. The ground closes leaving devasted Arnav in tears and the happily ever after far far away...
6hrs after the destruction
Arnav is trying every thing he could, when he woke up in the rescue camp after 3 hrs of highly devastating earthquake hit the center of Tokyo. He checked and rechecked all the name that has been enlisted in the rescue camp. He too has gone to English embassy for help but nothing was satisfactory. He came back to shopping mall and saw how his happiness was destrusted in a blink of moment.
After 12 hrs the rescuer gave the sign that there is no sign of life now. He could not believe that, he told them to check again but they didnot understand him. He was not able to believe that he could not find his Khushi, his Khushi has gone far far away. Arnav collapses in the field. He wakes up in the hospital not knowing what to do without Khushi. He remember everything he has ever promised Khushi, he feels guilty he could not fulfill it.
The only thing she could remember now is Arnav calling out her name, and how her hand slipped from Arnav's hand and his desperate face and next thing is all dark, she felt like she could not breathe she cried for help but it only made her tired, she knew she was going to die but only one thought crossed her mind what will happen to Arnav without her. Twelve hours of darkness when someone pulled her out she could see the light but still it was all dark because she could not see Arnav.
Arnav was too busy griefing when an embassy person came and informed him the rescue team in shopping mall site has rescued anIndian woman who said her name is Khuhsi Singh Raizada. Arnav rushed towards the ward where Khushi was taken. He could not believe his eyes there was his Khuhsi...
Khuhsi could not believe what her eyes was seeing, she thought its her dream but when Arnav came near her and hugged her. His bruises were evident her pain was clearly seen in her eyes. The nurse tells them that Khushi need to be taken for examination, Arnav tries to hold but he is sure now Khushi won't go anywhere, she is there with him...
