I think most of us thought it would be dadi or Ramdhari who would some how stop the marriage or would do something but never expected Sudha to step up and ask Prithvi to stop the marriage.

My expectation was that daadi will stop the wedding, it was unexpected that Sudha would do the honors. Even though Sudha asked Prithvi to stop the wedding, I believe that Ramdhari was very instrumental in making Sudha understand that Meera loves Prithvi.
