The key players in the Modi household are mere pawns on a chess board. The creative way Urmila used to hook her daughter into her abyss took little to convince Rashi.
If anyone thought that Rashi turned around to honestly save Gopi from drowning at the Kumbh Mela or that she had slated her mother at Holi to show her oneness with the Modi family, today's encounter reinforces that she is 'a chip of the old block'. She has resorted to her old ways knowingly and deliberately.
Rashi's game continues to win her brownie points with the Modi family whilst, at the same time, making Gopi sink hook, line and sinker into their abyss and gleefully watches her sink.
Gopi fell victim yet again. Was this knowingly or unknowingly? She lacks the inability to say no, even to the detriment of her own daughter's sake, as we have seen today.
This abyss will suck in others too extending this downward spiral until something gives and intervention occurs. Will this be during the ME? If so, we face up to three weeks of torture in the hands of Urshi's ubiquitous abyss.
Will it get to a point where it will be all hands on deck to overcome this, like the pickle saga?
