Lapataganj on SAB back with season 2 soon

December 2012 last year. Interestingly, the makers launched another show Hum Aapke Hai In Laws in return on the same slot.

However, what we have heard now is that the makers have geared up to come up with Lapataganj season 2 in the near future, probably post IPL. The entire star cast will remain the same and the scheduling for this season is on.

It is also heard that if Hum Aapke Hai In Laws doesn't do well till the time, the makers will once again repeat the history by replacing the show with Lapataganj season 2 on the same time slot post IPL.

When contacted, Shubhangi Gokhale shared, "Actually we were aware about Lapataganj season 2 on the last day of season one itself and I will definitely be part of season 2. We haven't started shooting yet but will start once all the scheduling work is done."
