| ....as of now! Their love was tested by time but they managed to sail through all the trials of life that came their way and were set to exchange vows this month. But destiny had other plans for this Bawa couple! Tanaaz Lal and Bakhtyaar Irani were slated to get engaged this month but have postponed the ceremony due to personal problems. According to reports the twosome were to tie knot this November but changed plans as they decided to take things slowly. So what compelled them to shelve their engagement? Bakhtyaar was apprehensive about letting out much, "It would be better if you contact Tanaaz as she will explain you better. I don't want to say something which will be misinterpretated," says the actor. Tanaaz too was a bit reluctant when it came to clearing the air, "I don't want to sensationalize anything. Yes, we have called off our marriage plans this month, the major reason being my mother is not feeling well. She has developed a cyst in her liver and things are not pleasant right now. Also, I lost my father in August so we had anyway decided to keep it a small affair," says Tanaaz. She further adds, "No one will be in a celebratory mood. Both our families were completely against our marriage, but now that they don't have any issues, we can wait for more time." The duo arrived at this decision last night with their family's consent. Though not many, but a few preparations were lined up for the celebration. "The hall was booked and the guest list was also invited," says Tanaaz. On being asked about focusing on Nach Baliye 2 with a disturbed atmosphere at home, Tanaaz says, "We are already finding it difficult and it's going to be extremely difficult to concentrate on rehearsals. But I will try my level best not to let it affect NB2!" They haven't zeroed in on any other date for their engagement as yet. Family first, we agree. And no problem Tanaaz-Bakhtyaar....we hope to hear the wedding bells ringing soon! |
