Hi Friends

As we all know , yesterday's episode was a Low Scoring one where most of the Jodis got a word or two from the judges about their performances...

Now, i want to talk and discuss about few facts...

I would want to talk about the way and manner in which the judges especially Sarojji awards points to the Jodis... I do not know anything about dance, i do not have any knowledge at all. I am not a person to have done research on what is what in dance when it comes to various regions in India... So i will not want to question the knowledge of the judges here as regards the songs and regions selected by their Jodis yesterday and their thoughts on it.

Instead, i would like to point out few things that i observed...

When it came to Hu Ti , the reaction of the Judges were really good. Not a word was said about their performance being bad... Infact, all the 3 judges had a big big praise for HU , as they felt he lived that role of a Maharashtrian... They appreciated his energy level, but said, Tina fell short yesterday in matching Husain. Again, the judges also felt that Hu was totally in another level more supreme to what tina was, hence this drop in energy was seen so obviously in Tina's performance... But they overall appreciated their performance. Now, Sarojji said that the choreographer had not probably reseached a lot on this style of dance and said, he could have done more with the steps... Fine!!! These were the feedbacks that Hu Ti got... But overall, thier performance was appreciated and they did not get any stick for their performance... Now they got a total score of 23, 8 from Malaika, 8 from Kunal and 7 from Sarojji....

Now moving on to TB... Again, my intention is not to hurt anyone, but to point to some facts that were worth noticing in yesterday's programme... The judges were totally disappointed with TB's efforts. They did not like the pelvic movements made by B. They pointed to few movements which they felt was a Khichdi of sorts, that too, which was not fully cooked.. They said the performance was very loud and unwanted energy spilling out... They gave a remark that "We were waiting for it to end"... They even said that TB lacked the coordination and nothing went right for them..... Now to their scores: They got a total of 19, 6 from Malaika, 6 from Kunal, 7 from Saroj...

Now having said all this, here i would like to point to some things...

Sarojji , as you see, gave the same points to both TB and Hu Ti... She gave 7 a piece to both the jodis... Now, is this not something really strange and shocking? How could she do this? If this is fair judging, then what will be a biased judgement? Can we know?

Hu Ti were so much appreciated, Hu was applauded for his performance, Tina was not far behind. They did not make any mistake while performing, they did not have any problems with their chemistry(none of this was pointed out). Their performance was full of energy and Hu was fabulous yesterday... Yes, if at all they missed something, maybe it was more variety (I am saying this with due respects to SArojji, who said they could have done more). Now Sarojji gave this performance a 7...

At the same time, she gave TB too a 7... How come? How is this possible? TB got the worst comments from all judges, including Sarojji.. She was quick to say that TB lacked the sync in dancing. The steps were bad. She pointed out to B's pelvic movements, said it was too much to digest. It was said theirs was a Khichdi that could not be eaten... Sarojji said, she was frank in saying that they waited for their performance to end.. Now, after all this, what marks did she give them? 7!!! which was the same as she gave Hu Ti??? Why this?

I appreciate Malaika and Kunal who actually varied in awarding points to TB and HuTi. They could see and spot the difference in standard between these 2 performances.. But what about Sarojji? Why did she give the same points to both TB and HuTi? Is this fair to Hu Ti?

I personally feel TB should have got even less marks than 19, or it should have been the other way, with HuTi being awarded more than 7 for their performance from Sarojji... Whatever way i see it, it only appears to me that Sarojji has a strange way of awarding points.... I am not able to see what it is, but to me, it seems like she is actually erring in her decisions.... Sorry to say this, but this is my thought. Please free to comment...

You have a very good point..it did not occur to me...all I can say is that she is slightly biased toward TB

But I thought HUt deserved at least a 25 for their dance..it was the second best dance after MS..

So true. Wish saroj kan would apply her brains while giving marks and be less biased.

If TBs performance was the worst in last night's episode then how come HG scored less than them?

great observation...hussain-tina definitely deserved atleast a 25!! they were really really good, particularly hussain 👏 ...you've rightfully pointed out that saroj ji awarded same marks to T-B while criticizing them, and to H-T, while praising them... ..at times, i feel judges' scores are inversely proportional to what they say.... i don't know what to make of it... 🤢

I think Saroj ji is mostly sleepy through most performances and wakes up at the end when she hears the applause .. 😆

Really good observation sree and thank you for bringing it to the notice. Wished someone would ask this question to saroji. I guess many would be interested to know the answer to that question. I know I am. 😕
