Urmila is a selfish, self centered, money minded crass women.

She cannot feel a anything for anyone, except a maternal instinct for Rashi and that too stems from some kind of fear of being alone and forgotten if Rashi moves on with her own life with her in laws.

Therefore I am trying to a analyse her strange affinity and affection for Dhawal. He is her nephew, not her own son and yet she has take him in, allowed him to stay in her house and treats him like her own son.which contradicts her character.

Does anyone feel the same or have any thoughts on this????

Liking Dhawals sense of fairness.

Hmm.. I don't think Urmila thinks Dhawal as her son.. She gives him a little more respect when compared to how she treats Gopi but I think that is mainly because of the fact that he actually brings her money while Gopi was just the unpaid servant.

I also think that Dhawal is Urmi's nephew when opposed to Gopi who was from Jithu's side of the family. Plus add to that, the fact that Dhawal is more worldly wise.. He knew Urmi was doing wrong and opposed her and Kinjal even in the Kinjal didi track..

The above factors adds to Urmi's deference to Dhawal. Maybe she also fears that at the end of the day, Rashi will be in her sasural and hence she may as well be dependent on Dhawal during her old age.😊

I think the combination of the above included with the fact that Dhawal is her other source of income or lets say the main source of income is the reason why Urmi behaves better with Dhawal. She does not want him to lose it and stomp out of her home..

Jitu has been MIA for quite sometime now. Dhawal worked out a plan with another woman, Falguni, to make Kinjal jealous and realise that she does have feelings for him after all.

She likes Dhawal more than gopi only because Dhawal gives in income, and bc he is a male and gopi is a female

But Gopi's father's pension was always taken by Urmila. She did not keep Gopi for free. Wonder what is happening to that money now?😕

I wasn't the one calling her selfish, crass, self centered...yadi yadi yah... so you could well imagine who is getting so personal about the subject. Anyway, my represented opinion its almost freaky how they execute there evilness so well in image and physically (which also goes to my point about the expressionism) Great acting perhaps. Real life mirroring..scary thought. Anyway that is my opionion and righftully entitled to it.

Sorry to come back to this, but I referred to Urmila being crass, selfish etc... , while I felt u were referring to Vandana, that is why I thought it was offensive to get personal about the actor, if you were referring to the character then by all means u are entitled to your opinion.
