Tellychakkar.com has learnt that sadness has gripped actors Himmanshoo and Mohit Malhotra.

Yes, the brothers lost their father, Ashok Malhotra, early yesterday (2 April 2013) morning.

And the sad part is that yesterday was also Himmanshoo's birthday.

A close friend of them on grounds of anonymity shared, "Himmanshoo and Mohit were in Singapore. Yesterday was Himmanshoo's birthday and Mohit's birthday is also round the corner. Hence, they all were in a party mood when the news reached them. They got back to their home in Delhi yesterday night."

The cause of the demise is said to be a major heart attack.
