Bhopal Today Team Bhopal, Nov 9: A very down to earth girl of Bhopal, Divyanka Tripathi is playing the lead role of an illiterate girl in the Zee TV soap opera 'Dulhan'. Along with this project she has several roles to play in various soap operas, the buzz is Bollywood has approached her also. In a short span she has established herself in the tough cutthroat competition of acting cult in Mumbai, and is now a respectable name. Few years back she has played a vital role in the soap opera of Doordarshan, 'O Sathi Re', along with that she has also participated in the programmes of Akashvani, like 'Gular Ke Baba', 'Business Bateyen' 'Kahta Sarita' and many others. Earlier, her inclination was towards modelling and many of her snaps were published in newspapers and magazines. The clinching of the title 'Miss Bhopal' in year 2004, make her famous and brought in the mainstream of acting. Divyanka said that she has also joined NCC and learnt horse riding and rifle shooting. Actually, she does not even remember that when acting came in her life and became an integral part of it. She went to Mumbai to find a suitable place in the arena of acting four months ago, and then she was called for the audition of 'Dulhan'. Earlier, she has worked with Prashant Chawla in a tele-film, and Prashant has seen the touch of an innocent country girl in her, which served as a vital factor for her selection in the lead role in 'Dulhan'. Talkative Divyanka, find the character very natural and has not to work hard for playing the character in the soap opera. She said that she lives alone in Mumbai as her father's business is established in Bhopal and younger brother is studying. The modern facilities mobile and e-mails fill the gap of communication. When in need she dials the number and seeks consultation from parents about the role offered and to tell them about the achievements.
