I was watching yesterday's serial and i was shocked VC promised that no matter what Saras will undergo punishment for Yash to his mother.
I find VC has done many faults in this Gua Hatya track
1) Allowing Saras to be punished - because he is guest of house. No Indian will allow a guest to suffer for his family sins like VC did to Saras. Even if its guest fault family will take blame on themselves but not allow guest to be punisdhed as he is in their protection
2) VC not calling LNV and telling him this has happened to Saras. Then LNV would come running to get him released. No matter that LNV and Saras have issues with each other but for every father can give his life to protect his son and vice versa.
3) VC keeping quiet about Yash dissaperance and not telling panchayat and priest what happened(letter). May be VC is either very innocent like Saras or dumb and hence cannot put 2 and 2 together. So atleast tell panchayat they will find Yash
4) VC not making any extra efforts to search Yash and just asking people who come to his house. Does he not have car cannot he call/search for Yash
5) Finally VC making promise to Yash mother that no matter what Saras will undergo punishment for Yash crime. Who is VC to make such a promise is Saras his son that he can make such promise. How can you force Saras to undergo saaza of Yash just because he is npt related to you? By making such promise he broke trust Saras had on VC to bail him out.
So what difference between Guman and VC/Dukhbaa all are giving same treatment to Saras taking advantage of his goodness and values because they know he will not demand answers and retaliate to injustice. But atleast they must think how LNV will feel when he hears what happened to his son?
Kumud must also take blame she saw saras leave alone at 6am on foot and never told this to priest or family because then all come to know she is in love with saras and hidding and observing him. This hieghts of love. What if saras was accussed of grave crime like murder of human? still she will keep quiet to save her image in front of world.
Saras is a very good human being and taken blame on himself to save Yash and VC family. That does not mean VC and family keep quiet and let him undergo punishment. In India guests are treated like God more so a Guest who is come to marry your daughter. Just because that human is considerate and keeps quiet you cannot allow him to go to gallows on behalf of your family.
That is why they say "Apne apne hote hain aur paraye paraye."

Saras and LNV will both realize what a father-son relationship is when they are in trouble and no one bails them out but eachother. Currently they may be cold and aloof to eachother finding faults but in trouble there is no better help than your close family. I am sure Saras and LNV will realize it in end of serial and treat each other will love and care. Currently both act like they are at a cold war with each not asking each other opinion and not telling each other what they will do? Like LNV announce Saras marriage without asking and son came to india without telling his father. That hurts a relationship trust. Atleast one must try and mend this relationship and develop trust for each other.
Yes Saras is hurt that his mom died and LNV married another woman. No child ever wants another person to take his parents place. But its more than 25 years and its high time Saras forgives his dad and makes friends with him. Sometimes people are decieved of others nature LNV may not know about Guman's nature because she never misbehave with him and acts like very good human.
And LNV must stop treating Saras like a small child and forcing all his decisions on his son. Today Saras is alone facing the punishment in village because he does not have a great relationship with his dad. Else Saras would have called him first and informed what happened in village with him? If not to bail him out just to inform his father what happened. I find one more thing surprising Saras never calls his father from abroad everyday to check on him or tell about himself how things are going and same with LNV.
