Himmatwala has taken a slow to decent start at the box office as far as morning shows are concerned for the opening day. It has registered an occupancy of around 25-30% on average from datas received from the selected cinemas. Occupancy in single screens is much better than multiplexes. Occupancy report received from selected single screens is around 35-40% on average. In multiplexes occupancy is around 20-25% on average for the morning shows.

Occupancy for the opening day will increase as the day progresses. Evening and Night shows collections should be big. Since, Himmatwala is a wide release in around 3000 screens all India, one would have expected a occupancy of around 40-50% on average for the day.

Mumabi, CP, CI has recorded better collections than Rest of India with occupancy of around 30-35%. Northern belt is slow to start with occupancy of around 20% on average. Rest of India occupancy is hovering around 20-25% on average. Since, today is holiday on occasion of Good Friday, expect collections to show jump from noon shows itself.

As for the opening day, Himmatwala needs an occupancy of around 45-50% which will take its first day total to 14-15 crore nett mark. If that happens it will be a good start to the weekend. As per early trend Himmatwala is heading for 10 crore nett mark for the opening day
