Amit's abrupt exit: Is it justifiable?

Amit dashed out of his own sangeet function and left everyone stunned by his impolite action. Poor Amita, few minutes back she was so happy and all of a sudden she is dumbfounded by Amit's act.

Amit was deeply shocked & upset after overhearing Amita's conversation with Suraj. I agree, when people are very upset they behave brashly. Anyways which guy would tolerate that his fiance is dreaming about some other guy and that too in his own sangeetwala night.

And of course how can we forget that Amit has such a mountain sized ego?? He has some shades of MCP too. He himself was drooling after seeing Snehal but couldn't tolerate even the thought that his fiance can get fascinated by some other guy!!

Rather than dashing out, do you think Amit could have a handled it in a better and sensible way. Do you justify his actions?

I would say that several things were hitting him all at once. Firstly, Amit sees Snehal, which brought up past feelings for her. Secondly, his own doubts about getting married to Amita also come to the surface (he has been going along with the program but his heart is not in it). Lastly, Amit hears from Amita's own mouth that she wants a guy like Suraj and that her marriage is a misfortune. What could the poor guy do? He was overwhelmed and just couldn't handle it (I mean, he doesn't have any experience with relationships so maybe his feelings are very sensitive?)

amit should of handled it better way rather than just storming off the sangeet. like amit had a crush on snehal and still do so did amita but she is over it. so amit should think that he is in the same phase as amita was so judging her is really wrong. come one he is the one who said that he will never love amita isn"t that too much when he barely knows her. amit should look at his past before judging amita.

His act is not all justified.. It is really bad way to act that too on his own function..
So far i can understand his character, Amit always see others mistake rather than his own + ego not letting to accept.. Sure Amita has tough battle after marriage ...It is very diffcult make a person to understand n see their mistakes 😕

Very good analysis 👏.

Even I was trying to think in Amit's POV.
All these events happened so quickly that he was unable to handle it anymore. Maybe he felt so suffocated that he just wanted to just leave that place to get some fresh air and to clear his dilemmas. After all he was going through a great inner turmoil. Maybe our views are more biased since we always think in Amita's POV.

I had a doubt regarding the sangeet wala episode.

1. It was shown that Amita reads the msg loudly (itna loud ki door khade Amit ne bhi sunn liya😒) Well, the doubt is, koi itne zor se msg padta hai kya??
😕

2. Amita jab wo msg pad rai thi, tab woh har ek line ko ek ajeeb se tone me pad rai thi. Jaise wo Suraj ko (ya shayad apne aapko) sawaal puch rahi hai. Jab koi kisi ko apne dil ki baat batata hai, tab kya wo is tone me baat karta hai??🤔 Kabhi nahi!!! (Maybe my analysis of her tone was not right, but, wo tone obviously normal nahi tha😒)

3. Aur kya koi itna dumb hota hai, ke "baat karne wale tone" aur "msg padnewale tone" ke beech faraq na samje??🤪

@smrititen and @sweetmadhuri18: 👍🏼 Good observation. Maybe it is one of the major bloopers in AKA. The Cvs were unable to convince the viewers about the time/place and the way in which he overhears the conversation. 😒

Maybe it's not a blooper a biased person hears what he wants to without going into the facts.
The background of jealousy has made him insecure about Amita's feelings and he kind of feels humiliated about his inabilities and that was the last straw on the back wrt Suraj. Just a POV.

Your POV holds good since it was about the reaction after Amit overhears the conversation. But here we were actually discussing the way in which the scene was shot and the way in which Amit overhears it.

1. If you observe Amit was standing behind Amita while she was reading the message, that implies Saraj should have seen Amit/Riya since he was standing in front of her. But strangely he didn't see Amit/Riya.
2. Being a sangeet night, it should be chaotic and noisy but still Amit and Riya were able to hear Amita/Suraj conversation clearly. But mysteriously Amita/Suraj did not hear Amit/Riya's conversation. How strange is that?
