Is Masa bhabsa's mother or sister?

Is Masa bhabsa's mother or sister? I'm confused! Masa looks too young to be bhabsa's mother. 😕

mother, that's why bhabsa calls her mother and bhabo calls her mother-in-law...but she looks younger than bhabasa, right?😆

I think Maasa is Babasha's uncle's wife; I am assuming that as Babasha do not have any parents, his Kakasha & Maasa act as his parents. After Babasha & Bhabo got married they had to stay in the village with them, as per previous episodes Maasa ruled Santosh with an iron hand!

Sonarmeye is right. Maasa is Bhabhasa's uncle's (father's brother) wife. She and her husband are the eldest in their family at present.

Girls used to have children as early as 15 years. Many times the mother and daughter or DIL used to deliver together. The mother would hardly be in early 30s and daughter or DIL 15. Daughter or DIL having her first child and mother the 10th or 11th. So it is possible Bhabasa's father was the eldest and Maasa's husband the youngest in the family. In that case as stated above there won't be much difference between Bhabasa and Maasa's husband's age (Bhabasa's mother and her MIL must have had a baby at the same time ). It may even be the same . So Bhabo and Maasa may be of the same age group. Position wise Maasa is superior. I know it is a bit complicated. Read it twice you will get the point.
