thanks for making this post . i too had this qu. in my mind

babasa's mom is dead as they have shown them doing her shhradhs

it seemed maasa is either babasa's elder sister or his maasi or bhua

but as others are saying she is the wife of babasa's uncle .. & it could be like that , the only thing is that her husband is given less importance
