This is a star plus show - RISHTA WAHI SOCH NAYI. My prediction is circumstances will make kumud marry someone else. She will be a widow and then remarry Saras. Thus a NAYI SOCH will be remarriage of a widow girl. Show will go exactly like movie except the end part.

at times, i'm afraid to watch saraswatichandra... because of the novel... hope SLB opts for a new route... One thing is sure... If there's going to be a samud separation, result will get reflected in trps...

I read the original story on wikipedia. I agree with you that Snajay Leela Bhansali has a thing for unfullied love and sad ending love stories. But what he does not realize that these stories were written 126 years ago. The society and its norms were completely different now. In today's days and times young people are not weak. They are far more clear about what they want and to not become a sacrificial lamb to please others. In owrst case scenario, they would not marry at all until they can marry the one they want.

I could never fathom the Dil De Chuke.. ending...how can someone fall in love with another guy after having loved someone so passionately?

Devdas, the movie, at least justified the helplessness of the protagonists by keeping it a story of a bygone era.

I love the actors, their chemistry, romance but I do not agree with the illogical separation that makes no sense in these days and times. It frustrates me to see why such renowned director would try to digress the society to its stupid old customs that gave nothing but pain to everyone.

this show is based NOT inspired from a novel. so obviously kumud will marry someone else. they may make a few adaptations to the story, but are obviously not going to change the whole story.
