How do you select the roles for yourself? I won't say I'm selective in picking up roles, like in Beend Banunga Ghodi Chadhunga which ended in the month of Feb and soon I started shooting for Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha in the month of December, to be quite honest I also gave plenty of auditions so I can't say I am being selective (selective woh hote hai jinke pass bahut kaam hota hai laughlingly) selective are those who have lots of work.. and I think I auditioned for nine or ten months. After a lot of struggle I got this opportunity to play Nanhi's character. I don't really have any godfather in this industry! yeah by God's grace I can say I'm lucky enough to play different roles, in Beend Banunga I was playing the character of Sarika who dreams of being a doctor and there was also a strong message for the audience. It doesn't matter whether you are married, you can always pursue your studies. And here again in Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha I'm very bold, outspoken journalist which is again a very different character from Sarika, I'm not doing the same saas bahu kind of roles. I enjoyed both the roles and in near future I will respect all the roles that I will get, she concludes.
