Bollywood demands for the ideal male ' good looks, dapper personality, slim physique, but where does Ram Kapoor fit in!

This gentleman started his career from TV and has slowly and "heavily" trudged his way up the Bollywood ladder. He is today Television's hottest star and whoops a "s** symbol"!
Tongues are wagging at the ace performance rendered by Ram in "Student of the year" and the recently released "Mere dad ki Maruti". He is fat, heavy set and does not even have the "booming Amitabh Bachchan" voice, then how does he manage to make the female s** drool? Well, maybe the guy is sporting and knows how to laugh at himself!

Daddy to two lovely children this very much "healthy TV Bollywood actor" Ram Kapoor has it all. He had trained at the Stanislavski Acting Academy in US for acting and had fleeced off his wife for the first two years of their marriage as he had no work. But a confident and loving wife Gautami had encouraged him on and today Ram wonders how he is crazily loved by the opposite s**.
"Yes, it is a lovely feeling. But the truth is, I don't know why they find me s**y. I know myself too well and I know the situation I am in. There was a time when I was thin and had six packs. But now I know I am very out of shape and I'd look hundred times better if I got back into shape." says the humble Ram.
Ram doesn't want to even think that he leads the pack and keeps pinching himself to remember that the most talented of the lot still struggle on!
He modestly retorts back "I have been very lucky. If I choose to be negative, then dumbing myself down may be true. But the truth is, I have reached a position where I get what I want. Nobody tells me what I should do, so I have the creative freedom. TV gave me the opportunity to do bigger bits in films. It reminds me of my insecure phase... "
Ram' father is a big-wig in the corporate world and did not expect his son to have a love for acting and after 10 years of Ram's slogging in the industry do the father and son look eye to eye.
Talking about his over the top size Ram smirks away "I know how to laugh at myself. And that's perhaps why Ekta (Kapoor) kept coming back to me to play that role in Bade Achche Lagte Hain."
The guy who had broken the hearts of many in his young years, found bliss after his marriage and now lies back looking at "Bade Acche Lagte Hain" with a big smile. Ram Kapoor shines all around as "Ram Kapoor" of Bade Acche Lagte Hain
