Worth giving a chance

It's kind of irritating to come to the forum and only see posts about how the show isn't up to par and how Sanaya should have waited for a better show. The thing is, I think people are making way too many comparisons between IPKKND and this show and not leaving any room for differences. But the problem is that the shows have two completely different concepts. I was just on Tumblr and looking up the tags for Chanchan, and everyone seems to think that Chanchan is exactly like Khushi. Maybe I'm just not as perceptive, but I see two different characters. Yes, Khushi was outspoken like Chanchan, fought for what was right like Chanchan, had a different view of the world like Chanchan, and was bubbly like Chanchan, but that's where the similarities end. Chanchan has a different, more modern look. She's a modern girl living in a modern world. Khushi was from a poor family and, because of that, was much more conservative than Chanchan. Yes, she fought for what was right, but she also didn't stand up to her elders, because her elders, in her mind, were always right. And, that's what's so refreshing about Chanchan. She does stand up to her elders because they don't always have the right view of the world. Often times, their views of how something should be can end up being narrow-minded as a result of the times they grew up in. And, Chanchan is willing to challenge that. Moreover, Khushi was crazy (albeit in a good way...) and Chanchan, while outspoken and headstrong, is a little more calm. The way she has fun with her friends shouldn't be mistaken for the same craziness that Khushi has. And, that's what I love about Sanaya. She knows how to bring a very original flavor to all the characters she plays. Like Sanaya has said, Chanchan is the character she most relates to and I totally see that. Gunjan was bookish, shy, and softspoken. Khushi was crazy, childish, headstrong, and outspoken. Chanchan is modern, independent, outspoken, headstrong, and confident. Don't get me wrong. I will always adore Khushi and she will always hold a special place in my heart (how I wish that show was still running!) but I think that Chanchan is a captivating character, story, and show! Furthermore, those who don't like the male lead. What's wrong with him? Sure he's a little awkward (actually, his acting in the second episode was much better...) but that's how all actors start out. This is his first show. He needs time to grow, develop as an actor, experiment, and gain confidence in front of the camera. Give the guy a break! And, he's not bad looking, if you know what I mean 😉. And, for those who think he's an Arnav wannabe, I disagree completely. He doesn't have that ghamand, the seriousness that Arnav had. Don't go off his look. I could wear a dark shirt, dark slacks, a vest, and a tie... does that make me an Arnav wannabe? And, of course the character is going to be proud, and a little egotistical. He's a rich family's and a strict, ghamandi mother's son. So, before you go passing judgment, give the show more than 2 days to make its mark. In fact, give it at least two weeks before you knock it. Because, in my opinion, the show is entertaining, light-hearted, and eye-catching.

Exactly people are making too much comparing with Sanaya previous to this one my Mom doesn't fell the same at all she said Khushi was too OTT and old fashion while ChanChan is a today's girl. I fell Sanaya came back too early and it's been only 4 months since IPK ended so the fans aren't out of there IPK world and it will be hard to connect with this Bubbly girl for awhile. But fans outside the IPK world are liking it because they're not in the IPk zone at all.

Honestly speaking i didnt like the first episode much. But loved the second episode. Maybe its because i want this show to be like the previous show and i want cool dadi with goatwa and mrs hello hi byebye somewhere around the house. Anyways to the point this show is not IPK and i need to get over that to accept chan chan's new family. Though l loved sanaya's interactions with her future MIL. They are awesome together i can already tell i am going to love CC and her future mother in law. I like CC mom as well she seems cool the rest of the characters have not impressed me yet. but you are right to love CC we need to get over IPK cuz its a whole another show.

Jesus! Thank you I've been saying the exact same thing.

All I've been reading since the morning is the female lead made a terrible choice and should have waited a while for a better show, the male lead needs to be replaced cuz he can't act, the show is BORING, the humor is forced, and so on...
Some of these IPK fans here need to get out of their IPK hangover pronto. If you can't then don't watch this show and ruin it for others here. I see mostly the IPK fans complaining, no offense. They're the ones who are constantly questioning SI's choice while people from outside have no qualms with the show. I wonder why all these people have so many complaints while every review of the show so far has only good things to say about it?
As far as Farhan goes, I'll repeat, he'll be fine in a few days. The show will pick, how can one even pass judgments within two days? Ridiculous. People need to sit back and watch. This isn't a mills and boons story or anything, so don't expect it to go in that direction.

@TM and u : couldn't have said it better. I wouldn't bother repeating what u said..cz all that needs to be said has been said clearly!! people need to accept that Arnav & Khushi are over!! DONE OVER GONE! it is sad! but it is the reality! Deal with it! If i can say this while my heart is breaking everytime thoughts of IPK comes to my mind..while I carry a tribute siggy under every post i make, i think the rest of them can do it too if they accept the reality however sad it is.
that is the main reason for these complaints!🥱

let the show actually show what it is about.. don't write it off with the content of 1 measly hour!🥱

Exactly IPK fans needs to accept the fact Arnav & Khushi are gone over it. They're only here to make remarks and ruined things for other fans who want to watch and enjoy the show.

Honestly, I'm not going to lie, I am a huge IPK fan. But, even so, I know that actors make a show. The show doesn't make the actors. So, that being said, we are here to watch the actors do their job -- act. I am here to see this story play out, to see Sanaya act as this new avatar and I will do just that while leaving all of my preconceptions at the door. I want to watch Sanaya in this show because she's a brilliant, gorgeous actor and a wonderful person. And, that means I'm willing to give this show a chance -- which, by the way, I have been liking -- with a new romantic lead and everything else the show entails.

And to all of you that responded... 👏. You're exactly the type of people that I was hoping would respond to my post.
