I know some people aren't happy with the way Zoya's character has been shown to get somewhat childish and immature in dealing with her feelings for Asad and her jealousy with Tanu but I think it's really fun and adorable to watch.
I don't neccessarily think that it's a bad thing to see her show such insecurities and feeling the inferior complex because I think we can all safely put our hands up and say that we have all done it or been there.
How many of you have at some point in your life have felt a bit jealous, threatened or insecure over something whether that be about a guy, your own look, personality or any part of your lives.
It's a part of human nature and even the most mature and level headed people out there will stand up and say yes we have acted in a somewhat childish manner or had stupid thoughts when the situation has occurred.
So seeing Zoya struggle with understanding not only her emotions and feelings for Asad but also trying to contend with someone who on paper seems perfect for Asad (Tanu) is obviously going to come across as it is at present.
I think it's a joy to watch because it gives us the softer and vulnerable side of Zoya that shows us that despite being so strong and independent she too has a vulnerable side that needs love and protection and Asad has also noticed this vulnerability and has been there to save her on many occasions and seeing her react in this way will also reveal to him that she cares for him and that it does effect her just as much as it effects him.
No matter what anyone thinks or says, we as women are weaker than men when it comes to emotions, what often drives us is our heart and our emotional involvement in matters, in a way that doesn't make us weaker but superior to men because we can be strong when needs be but also show compassion and empathy when needs be.
Today's scene about the bathroom use, and her annoyance at Tanu using Asad's bathroom was cute to watch, along with her chat with Dilshad who was singing Tanu's praises the other day, Zoya isn't stupid she realises that her manners and reactions are borderline childish but at the same time she also knows it's not in her control if her feelings for Asad are overshadowing her logical thought process.
I'm enjoying the scenes, and it's cute to see that Asad has noticed her getting rattled and annoyed by Tanveer because it adds another element to their relationship.
We know that tears and angst are on it's way depending on how this Tanveer 'Marriage Plot' plays out but for now I hope we get to see some more funny/cute scenes where both Zoya and Asad struggle to understand their feelings for each other.
