Chapter 1

Lucknow

"Jiji, hurry up we are getting late."exclaimed Khushi.

"Hai re Nandkhishore! Tum dono abhi tak taiyaar nahi hui?Tumhe ka lagat hai ki tum kahi ki rajkumari ho jo train tumhre liye wait karegi?"("You both are not ready till now?What do you think that you are a princess of somewhere that train will wait for you?")

"Aur nahi toh kya Buaji,apki SankaDevi kisi rajkumari se kam hai kya?Hamara intezaar toh poori Delhi kar rahi hai!"(What do you think Buaji?Your SankaDevi is not less than a princess! The whole Delhi is waiting for me!")

"Parmeshwari, tumhra kuch nahi ho sakta."She said while shaking her head."Now , both of you hurry up or else we will miss the train."

"Payalia, take care of yourself and Khushi." "And YOU Khushi, don't you dare create a scene there." "It is so generous of them that they are giving you job after what had happened here."

"Amma , how will they not give the job to me?Afterall,i was the topper of my class!"

"Khushi,now stop being dramatic and hurry up."

'Ji,Babuji ham chalte hain.Aap apna aur Amma ka khayal rakhna."("Ok Babuji, now i am going. Take care of Amma and yourself.")Khushi looked at her house for the last time. Tears made their way to her cheeks automatically. This was the last time she was seeing her house.

"Good morning, everyone." "Hello, yeah Aman what were you saying?" "Good, so our new head designer will be joining the office tomorrow. Is there any progress in our new project? Please, look into the matter and tell me."

"Gudz Mornings,Arnav Bitwa.Anjali bitiya was tellingz that you were not opening the door? Whatzz happened?"

"Nothing serious, Mamiji.I was on a conference call at that time."

"Offoh Chotte , there is also a world besides your work.So,stop being workaholic."

"Di,for me my work is more important than this world and no one can change this not even you."

People are so foolish at times. They even don't know about the irony stored in their words .That day was not far when his world was going to turn upside down.

"Jiji ,see i bought chana for us. Eat fast or else nothing will be left for you." She sat on the seat while smiling at her sister.

"No problem, Khushi. If you want then you can eat the whole. All that matters to me is your happiness."

"Are jiji, how can you think i will be happy eating this all alone?"She said and pouted her lips. Payal smiled at her sister's innocence. Innocence was her best quality but her greatest weakness also. She was afraid what if someone took advantage of this.She prayed to her Devi Maiyaa to keep her like this.

Little did she know that her Devi Maiyaa had some other plans.
