Hollywood heartthrobs Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have stolen the thunder from Bollywood.

So much so, that at a recent party thrown in their honour at Indigo, hardly anyone from B-Town attended.

The exclusive guest list mainly comprised the cast and crew of their film, A Mighty Heart.

However, a source from the restaurant revealed that the only Bollywood attendee was Koel Purie.

"Her name was on the guest list. I believe Michael Winterbottom (the director) invited her," we were told.

When we called Koel to ask her about the party, she was taken aback that we knew she'd been there. "Yes, I did attend the party. But I cannot give you any details."

When asked about her meeting with Hollywood's A- list couple, she said, "They are extremely warm and beautiful people. Besides that, they are also well read and down to earth."

A source present at the event spilled some more details about the evening. "Angelina was wearing a backless top and looked stunning. She entered with Brad and didn't get her kids along."

Talking about their chemistry, the source added, "They can't get their hands off each other. In fact, Brad constantly had one hand seductively playing with her back. They were relaxed and totally unaware of the hordes of paparazzi waiting for them downstairs."

Describing Angelina, the source said, "She doesn't look a Tomb Raider from any angle! In fact, Angelina is so delicate that she resembles a China doll that could break if touched." When asked about Koel's interaction with the couple, the source added, "They had a very informal chat with her. In fact, I even saw Angelina do a little Bollywood jhatka with Koel!"

Held on the terrace of Indigo, the area was cordoned off for guests sitting downstairs. "They had their own bouncer who didn't let anyone step onto the terrace. Several patrons sitting downstairs didn't even know who the guests upstairs were."

Among the much-discussed topics at the party was Brangelina's rickshaw ride in Pune. The source said, "Brad talked about how they managed to give the paparazzi a slip even on Pune's crowded streets. He was completely fascinated by the rickshaw though."

Rani misbehaves and apologises at Varanasi

The usually bubbly Rani Mukherjee created a controversial situation in Varanasi while shooting for Yash Raj Film's Chudiyan directed by Pradeep Sarkar.

Apparently, the unit was shooting on the banks of river Ganga and that was when Rani's bodyguards lathi-charged the media persons and also her fans. The fact that annoyed the fans was that they had come to just watch their favourite actress and yet got hit by the security personnel and Rani didn't even stop them.

Some fans who were annoyed with her said that even a superstar like Amitabh Bachchan makes it a point to meet his fans when he comes there for shoots. A political group agitated against such behavior of Rani asked her to give an apology in 48 hrs or leave the city.

Rani chose to apologise to the media but also added that media persons were also at fault. She said that the media was trying to get too close to her and Konkana Sen Sharma, who was also shooting for the film.

Apparently, this is not the first time that Rani ran into trouble at Varanasi. Last time was when she was shooting for Bunty Aur Babli when she entered the 'akhada' (wrestling ring) and danced.

According to the customs of the region, a woman is not allowed to enter a wrestling ring like this.
