So you know how people say a girl has daddy problems if she is was abandoned/not loved by her father and therefore no longer trust men to come into her life??? Well I think our Saras has the reverse issue: a case of "mommy problems"!!! LMFAO...usually I don't like to discuss psychological theories...but the whole show is giving off a very Freudian vibe and all I can constantly think of is the Oedipus Complex!!! I don't think this is Bansali's intention, but maybe he has a weird fascination with Freud :S

I mean doesn't anybody agree that it seems like Saras's stepmom is infatuated by Saras?? I think it's an interesting, yet creepy, plot.

lol I think some people did think that Saras' step-mom lusts over Saras but that's not the case...she just wants all the property for her real son.

you are right. Saras lost his mom because Guman came in his dad's life. So he dislikes concept of marriage and love etc But Guman liking Saras is not possible. Here Monica Bedi is young but in actual novel his step mom was not so young and that was an 18th century novel.
