Chapter 14A:
She chose to ignore him totally and tried to cross the road hoping that he couldn't cross over to the other side in his SUV……he had to go a long way for a U-turn and come to her……
But he acted smarter….He chose to leave the vehicle in the parking lot and sprinted behind her…..He saw her carelessly walking through the speeding vehicles…..he grabbed her and pulled her away just in time, thus saving her from being hit by a biker……
He dragged her back to a safer place and held her to face him "paagal toh nahi ho Aisha? Aise kyun baag rahi ho?"
Aisha stood staring at him as if judging what he felt about the whole thing….
Slowly she replied "aap ke sawaalon se baag rahi hoom Sir"
Arjun stood totally annoyed glaring at her…..

They start their stern tit-for tat Q and A session!
Arjun: mere sawaalon ka jawaab dena nahi chahthi ya jawaab dene ki himaat nahi hai?
Aisha: jawaab deh nahi sakthi Sir….
Arjun: mujhse chupaane ki wajah??
Aisha: wajah hai par woh bhi nahi bathaa sakthi…..
Arjun: [annoyed] Aisha, you know I have my ways to get the truth out?
Aisha: [sternly] then get it out your way Sir…..why are you behind me?
Arjun: isska matlab tum nahi bathaane waali, huh?
Aisha: do I have to make it any clearer?
Arjun silently glares at her for a few seconds while she Aisha looks away…..
Arjun turns to leave when she voices out "yeh sab jaan ne ki khoshish matth kariye…just let it be Sir….wahi aap keliye teek hoga!"
He turned around and grabbed her by her shoulders and fumed at her angrily "mujhe kya karna hai, yeh tum mujhe matth sikhaavo Aisha….samjhi ya samjhaavum?"
Aisha couldn't stand his fuming self for longer….She was shaken a bit by this angry form of his….
She stood silent under those glaring eyes while he added "mujhe patha hai ke yeh sab kisi secret mission keliye hai…..aur mujhe tumaare missions mein taang adhaane ki koyi shauq nahi hai…….par kuch hai jo mujhe iss mission se connect karthi hai aur woh kya hai yeh main jaankar rahunga…..tum chaaho ya na chaaho…."
Saying that, he walked away but not before instructing her "aur haan…..tumaare daredevil attitude road cross karthe waqt matth dikhaana….aankhen kholkar safely ghar jaao…."
She stood there thinking about the hurdles she had to cross before finally getting to her final goal! And the biggest hurdle was this man himself….crossing him over would be tough….next to impossible…She knew that this wouldn't be hidden from him at all time…he sounded determined….and he will find out….

The next few days flew by with lots of cases and Aisha's preparation for the mission progressing slowly…..She had a lot of things to do before starting up on the actual mission…..
Arjun wasn't ignoring any of her moves….nothing went past without his knowing…..though the actual mission wasn't yet known to him, he could understand the magnitude of the entire thing and he was also getting small hints pointing to the reasons as well…..Aisha was upto something really big with dangers lurking all around…He was a bit apprehensive with the fact that she was going on some rope walking dare devilish mission…and he didn't know why he had a strange urge to stop her from that!
He tried to talk with Sameer to know more but he didn't disclose any details…..Sameer just tried to switch topic and pushed this discussion off as much as possible!
One day, Arjun happened to see Aisha's photos on Shree's laptop……she looked very different……her eyes were blue…..hair coloured and styled differently……she was dressed in modern dresses and looked more like a model!
It took a while for Arjun to realize that it was Aisha herself……he took a closer look to confirm if he was right….thats when Shree walked in and looked horrified seeing Arjun near his laptop……
It was quite late in the night and all at office had left….Of late, Shree had been working on the tasks related to the secret mission during the nights when the office was literally empty….even today, he had seen all including Arjun walking out before starting his work……
He had just gone to get himself a cup of coffee when the hot cop had bounced back into the office…
Shree smacked himself mentally, "odi baba….yeh maine kya kardiya??…mujhe lappy bandh karke jaana chahiye tha….ab toh dono taraf se maar kaana padega…..inn ko bathaa doonga toh jungili billi khaategi….aur nahi bathaaya toh yeh mujhe kaccha kaa jaayenge!"
He gathered up courage and enquired "sir….aap waapas??? Kuch kaam tha?"
Arjun looked lost a bit as his mind was trying to find answers for those different photos on Shree's laptop….but then, he couldn't ask Shree directly about it…he thought he would wait for Shree to explain…..So, he just nodded and replied "haan kuch adhoori kaam yaad aagaya…isiliye waaaps aaya…"
Arjun stepped away from the laptop to give Shree way….Shree was waiting for it….he rushed to his desk and closed the laptop quickly!
Arjun raised his eyebrows at that gesture but waited for Shree to turn around……He could see that there was something more to it than that met his eyes……
Shree didn't dare give any explanations to what her photos were doing in his laptop…..He knew that the cop before him wouldn't take any nonsense for an answer…so he just remained silent
Arjun had to ask him now…so he started off "Shree, woh photos….."
Before he could complete, Shree snapped him short "sir, mujhe dher ho rahi hai….agar mujhse kuch kaam nahi hai toh main nikhlum??"
Arjun could understand why Shree was in a hurry to escape…he could read between the lines….He wasn't going to allow Shree to go free like that…..Shree knew more than what he posed to know….."Shree, mujhe tumse kuch baat karni hai….chalo mere saat"
Shree: [startled] baat??? ab???
Arjun: haan….tumse baat karne keliye mujhe appointment ki zaroorat nahi na?
Shree had no choice but sit down for a talk with Arjun…..
Once settled in the conference room, Arjun shot the first question "toh bathaao, yeh sab kya chal raha hai tumaare aur Aisha ke beech mein??"
Shree gulped and tried to say something really crazy.."kuch nahi sir…hum dono bas acche dost hai….aap jaise soch rahe hai waisa kuch nahi!"
Arjun glared at him…..what had he asked and what this crazy guy assumed…..or perhaps was acting to have assumed it that way……
Arjun said with a wide grin "Shree tum brilliant sure ho….par mujhe aise crazy baaton mein uljhaakar mujhse bacch nahi sakthe…..seedhe seedhe bathao photos ka raaz kya hai?"
Shree was in fact dying to tell Arjun about all this because he himself wasn't convinced that Aisha should take this big risk….But he was bound by Aisha's strict instructions….
Somewhere, down his mind, Shree hoped that Arjun was the only person who can set things right…..Shree knew that Arjun could solve any problems and save Aisha from all dangers….Aisha had become a good friend now and letting her step into a danger knowingly wasn't giving Shree any peace of mind!….So he took a deep breath and decided to let the secrets out….
"Sir, mujhe full details patha nahi par Aisha bohat badaa undercover mission ki thayaari mein hai….yeh photos sab usi keliye hai….[he paused for a moment and spoke up when Arjun urged him to go on] ek website ke profile keliye…."
Arjun: [a little anxious, raising his eyebrows] kaisi website??
Shree: [hesitantly] ek illegal website…wahaan ladkiyon ke liye bidding hoti hai….aur Aisha chahthi hai ke usske profile wahaan ho….aur sabse acchi ho….aur uss circles mein famous ho!
Arjun is stunned "what???"
Shree: yes sir…..I hope u understand what that means…..and I have no idea what she is upto….
Arjun was still thinking about it and trying to get a clear picture…he replies "koyi badaa shikaar ke talaash mein hai….."
Shree nods, "hmmm"….
Meanwhile, Arjun twirls his pen in his fingers, with his mind in continuous thinking process…."kaun ho saktha hai?"
At the end of his thinking, his mind and lips whisper out the same name "SIKANDAR"

i know ab new lead aa rahi hai so Arisha chemistry is all gone for a toss but i have to give this FF a logical end...
