WATS THE DIFFERNCE IN REGIONAL N VILLAGE

well i just read it mondays theme is regional

but doesnt regional count 4 the style of dance in villages i mean folk dance

wat these guys did in village round was represent differnt style of village songs

lets c eg tht comes 2 my mind right now is manav shweta did a rajasthani jig on kangana re n rasik ketki were kasmiris

in the regional round 2 u represent different regions like j& k n rajasthan

so wats the differnce it isnt any new

the theme is used by a different name before

Yaar but ow many ethnic regional songs are set in the city? Jyaada se jyaada village type ke hote hain! They shd have come up with some totally different concept I think.

yaar with the exception of bhangra there's nothing. maybe some goan style dance but that's it. hmm, i guess we will find out soon enuff 😉

Well last time Raj-Varun did a salsa in this round. Basically if you want to experiment, there is stuff you can do other than the standard garba etc which we always see. The question is whether these couples will take the risk or not. So far they have shown themselves willing to do new things, maybe we will see good dances in this round which will be different from the village round. 😊

no thrs difference betn these terms,

regional means pertaining to a community like bengalis, marathis, sindhi, parsis, oriyas etc and these ppl may be urban or rural here thats not the issue.

but village theme has got to do with rural.

regional is fold..........representing the various dance formd from different states and sub cultures...

village round was more how they have village scenarios in movvies that dance...

its hard to explain but it is different

Regional: culture and tradition of a state or province which may or may not exist in real any more

Village: basically not cultural or traditional..like ongoing trend in rural areas

are they going to use songs that are not in hindi also???

baapre how will the judges understand expressions & lyrics then

reginal means culters and dances of different province of india it may be punjabi kashmiri or gujrati
but village means the culture of rural areas
