Well as long as the public votes for Qazi - we will see him around on the show. Fame Gurukul is really not all about singing. With their behind the scenes tapes - they have included the singers personality off stage as well. Something about Qazi off stage appeals to the people, hence he gets voted everytime.

FG is a platform for Pop Singers who can get by with just little singing talent and good stage/screen presence VS Saregamapa which skims for the real singing talent who will eventually be playback singers of the future.

If you look at a POP SInger's mould - with all the fine tuning in the studios - any of these singers would sound good, including Qazi! He does sound good in the FG video.Personally I would like to see Rex and Mona/Ruprekha be the fame jodi. Arijit is a good singer but a very boring performer - he should have been a contestant on Saregamapa.

A few more weeks and we'll soon have the FG jodi...

Good points tisha. Look at the music videos aired on television...its not about singing anymore. Its about having the so called x-factor: appealing looks, attitude, stylish clothes.

Qazi does look good in the Aasman video. He doesn't sound too bad either. Qazi has what the music pop industry wants- attractive personality, looks (this depends) and the most important thing, SELLING POWER. I think Shamit and Arpita have the same qualities too but they isn't as popular with the voting audience.

How many Latajis, Mohd Rafijis, Alka Yagniks do we see today? Not too many. But we see many of music/remix videos with newcomers wanting to become big stars yet don't have the same music talent as the above mentioned singers.

Till the guys who voted for Gurpreet instead of Kirti are out, Public will vote for Qazi. What do Shamit, Anubhav, Arijit feel, only they can play unfair?
