Use energy-efficient electrical appliances; they use two to 10 times less electricity for the same functionality and are of superior quality, so they last longer. Not only will they save energy, but also be lighter on your pocket. Plan candlelight dinners with your loved ones, and kill two birds with one stone!

I think it's important to encourage the use of solar energy to its maximum capacity. It should be made mandatory for every society to use solar energy and invest in rainwater harvesting.
