What happened to Sharon's asthma? One day, she decided to dance despite of her illness n all her problems vanished. She was shown rehearsing with the group without coughing or anything.

I don't know much about asthma. So please someone explain to me, is it recommended to dance despite the clear warning of the doctor not to? I don't remember any scene, where change Sharon's medical condition was shown.
