- the right to be heard within a reasonable time

20 years is not a reasonable time. Case shouldn't have been admisable in court. That's my point. I could care less if Dutt is guilty or not. You can't have a naked sword hanging on anybody's neck for 20 freaking years. Its inhumane and unlawful.
While i agree with that, It's not like he was on house arrest. He was still able to lead his life as normal as possible. he had a career and family. It was not like he lost movies and was umemploted caz of this . So basically the only thing he had to do was go to courts and pay his attorney. Not a big price, compare to 20years of jail which he could have gotten.
oh and one more thing, if this was some tom , dick and harry..the verdict would have been out long time ago. Part of the reason why it's been delayed this much is probably caz he and his connections were trying to avert the inevitable.
