"Dad...theek kaha tha aapne...ladka itna bhi bura nahi hai..."
Mr.Kapoor looked at his daughter,
"Aayesha, tumhari tabiyat toh theek hai na?"
Aayesha turned and looked at her parents,
"Mujhe kya hoga papa!"
Mr.K : "Nahi, woh tumne khud hi bola na ki ladka itna bhi bura nahi hai...vaise tum humesha yahi kehti ho ki ladka itna bhi acha nahi hai...bus issiliye..."
Mrs.K : "Kya aap bhi...Aayesha...toh hum tumhari haan samjhe?"
Aayesha : "Nahi maa, abhi mujhe kuch aur time chahiye..."
Mr.K : "Acha toh beta hum apne room mein chalte hain...kal subah milte hain..."
Aayesha : "Sure Dad..."
Meanwhile,
Mrs.R : "Beta tujhe Aayesha kaisi lagi?"
Sam : "Maa, agar aap logon ko pasand hai toh..."
Mr.R : "Beta tu apni choice bata.."
Sam : "(finishes his bite) Maa, mera ho gaya, mein room mein jaa raha hunn..."
Mrs.R : "Beta khaana toh pura khaale..."
Sam : "Nahi maa, bas..." (leaves for his room)
Mrs.R : "Lagta hai isse Aayesha pasand nahi aayi..."
Mr.R : "Ho sakta hai..."
Few days later,
ETF Office,
Sam's cabin,
"Hey Sam!"
Sam lifted his face, as he noticed Arjun.
Sam : "Haan Arjun..."
Arj : "Ik kaam tha Sam..."
Sam : "Bol na..."
Arj : "Yaar woh..."
Sam : "Bol na yaar..."
Arj : "Yeh le..." (hands him an envelope)
Sam : (takes the envelope) "Yeh kya hai?"
Arj : "Riya ki maternity leave, sanction karde..."
Sam : (smiles) "Hmm...abhi nahi...3 mahine baad"
Arj : "Kyun?"
"Kyunki agle 3 mahine mein research desk par kaam karungi...no field work"
Arjun turned behind to find Riya.
Arj : "Lekin Ri..."
Sam : "Arey Arjun...3 mahine tak woh kaam karegi...sirf 3 mahine...uske baad..." (tries to supress his smile)
Arj : "Acha? Teri toh!"
The duo ran into the conference room, as Sam tried his level best to escape from Arjun...
Sam hides himself behind Chotu.
Arj : "Chotu!"
Ch : "Kya Sir?"
Arj : "Chotu...side hatto!"
Ch : (hesitantly) "Yeh Rathore Sir mujhe side nahi hone de rahe..."
In the meantime, Sam ran towards the door conference room, suddenly,
"Ouch! Dekh kar nahi chal sakte stupid!" the girl shouted, as she started picking up the pages of her file.
"Sorry Ms" Sam said, as he started helping the lady, by picking up the pages.
Seconds later,
"You!"
"Tum?"
Both of them were shocked to see each other.
"Sam, ye kaun hai?" asked Arjun.
"Aayesha, Aayesha hai mera naam..." the lady spoke up.
"Arjun, yeh woh...woh yeh...Aayesha Kapoor..." he didn't complete.
"Yeh lijiye..." as Aayesha handed him a file.
Seconds later,
"Guys, Meet ACP Aayesha Kapoor, ETF's Ammunition expert"
Sam placed the file in the table, and went back to his cabin, as Arjun looked at his friend confused.
Few minutes later,
Arjun entered Sam's cabin.
"Oye Sam!"
"Haan Arjun"
"Yaar yeh wohi Aayesha hai kya jiske baare mein tu bata raha tha?"
"Hmm..."
"Sam ik baat kahun..."
"Yehi ki ladki ajeeb hai?"
"Tujhe kaise pata Sam?"
"Best friend hunn...kaise nahi pata hoga ki mera dost kya soch raha hai?"
Few hours later,
Ariya and Choree had already left for their places, while Aayesha and Sam were still in the office.
Sam got up from his chair to leave, suddenly his gaze fell on Aayesha who was busy doing some work.
"Aayesha late ho gaya hai...chalo mein tumhein drop kardun..."
"Nahi Sir...it's ok.."
Sam didn't argue and reached the parking lot. But he still felt that Aayesha should have left with him.
As soon as he sat in the car, he realized that someone was knocking the window of the passenger seat. He turned towards the passenger seat, as he found Aayesha knocking the window.
He unlocked the door, as Aayesha opened the door and sat next to him.
'Mere time par humesha inhone maun-vrat kyun rakha hota hai?'
'I hope, she doesn't talk about our marriage...'
The ride was a silent one. Sam preffered to be silent, while Aayesha was deperate to talk.
'Ajeeb hai yaar, humesha mere saath aake hi bechara chup kyun ho jaata hai? Bechare ne ab tak meri side mudkar, ik baar bhi mujhe nahi dekha...'
'Hai bhagvan, yeh toh kisi tuffan ke aane se pehle waali shanti hai...kuch bura hone waala hai kya?'
'Yeh kuch bolta kyun nahi?'
'Bhagvan inka ghar jaldi kyun nahi aata?'
'Am I in love with him?' as soon Aayesha realized her thoughts, she screamed a loud 'NO'.
The SUV came to a sudden halt.
"Kya huya? Aap theek toh hain Ms.Kapoor?"
"No, I'm in love!"
"What?"
"Sorry, woh...paani milega?"
