Everybody does an aarti for Shantanu at the entrance while Irawati gets emotional on seeing him. Shantanu enters the house and sees the family portrait and gets emotional. Alaknanda watches all this while hiding behind a pillar. Ammaji says sorry in her own way. Alaknanda reaches Shan-tanu's room to return his diary which he had forgotten at the hospital. Meerra sees Alaknanda coming out of Shantanu's room at night and is shocked.
