Finally caught up with the story.

And suffice it to say, you are a maestro at this. The simple, lazy pace is like hot chocolate on a late saturday afternoon with spikes of Cointreau when the two kiss.

The fear of commitment, the ideology of marriage as a dying institution with yay and nay sayers on both end would be interesting. After many years of marriage, both my husband and I reached a conclusion - marriage is a piece of paper that does not define a relationship. when your feelings are true for each other, a legality does not matter and if you are not sure, the legality will not stop you from breaking each other's heart. This steady erosion of belief in marriage as an institution is in no way a reflection of my life, on the contrary, its the affirmation that i would have chosen to spend my life with this man, even without a piece of paper legalizing it. Hope that explains it a bit better.

The only time i think the institution makes sense is when children are involved. so now you know where i stand on the situation - squarely with Arnav, preferably in his hot shower with him.

I love the way you described their kiss. It was sweet and sensual at the same time it was realistic. I like that. I feel a bit bad for NK but oh well, we all knew it was coming. :P But I also find strength in his character cause he forgave Khushi once he was in the right state of mind.

Everything is beautifully written as usual. You deserved the spotlight. Congrats. :)

Also I have seen the link you posted beneath the chapter and voiced my opinion on it. I hope it is a success.

Actually as i read the FF, i feel this story is like a river. It keeps flowing with its tiny yet consistent waves and every time i read a chapter, it gives me a feeling that the river is flowing towards its obvious destination, which is not as soomth as its course, rather very rough and deep!

Because, then, immediately i am reminded of the excerpt ... khushi at the doctor's chamber for abortion; it breaks my heart into pieces..

I love this story so much.. the characters are so perfect, as they should be in reality. Arnav and khushi are so much meant for each other , but their ideologies differ. You can't blame any one of them yet you would feel bad for them. Good that you described their backgrounds and values in so much details. That made me not to be judgmental about them and understand and respect them the way they are.

Yet I cannot but assume that, in the whole process, the sufferings and losses are going to be in khushi's side at the end!

Wonderful update!! The date might've been a disaster but it was wonderfully penned down. The way you captured the emotions they both were going through was bang on.

I loved seeing the after effects of the date with Khushi crying her heart out and Arnav turning to his sister for solace.

But I have to say my favorite part was in the car, when Arnav is talking to her and she just kisses him! That was just so full of emotion and love. It just made me cry and want to say "One of you please change your mind!" 😭
