A/N : short update, sorry.those who want pms... buddy me plzzz!😳

Part three :: Never alone

"can you tell me again? I wanna make sure, it isn't a dream.. " she asked.

he smiled and said, "I'm sorry zoya and I love you!"

she was slightly surprised but was happy. "its not a deam then... "

he laughed, "you dream of me then?"

zoya was embarassed again, "no..."

"you just fainted.. " he informed.

"people do when they get the shocker of their life.. but seriously, I never thought someone I love would confess first... "

"ah so you do love me miss Faruqi?"

"I dint say that mr. khan... "

Asad's mobile rang and he stood up. Dilshaad entered the room.

"Zoya, is it true?" she asked, "Asad roko use! how can she go like this? Itni raat ko tumhara jaana theek nahi Zoya and maine tumhari aapi ko phone kiya woh khud aayegi tumse milne... OK? Asad.. kuch kaho!"

Asad stood there dazed, "hmm... haan ammi! Miss Faruqi.. aapko jaane ki kya zaroorat. Aapka kaam abhi baaki hai, hai na?"

"Dekha... Asad bhi yahi chahta hai! Ek minute..Asad tum aaye kab? Hum ne nahi dekha... aur .. "

"woh ammi... Office se zaroori call aya hai.. I must call him back!" Asad hurriedly left da place.

It was half past eight. Dark clouds were lined up in the sky. It seemed to Zoya that it would rain. She and Najma were chitchatting when phuphi informed her that Asad needed a coffee. He skipped dinner and she wanted to know why.
Zoya volunteered to make one and Najma smiled. She could see Zoya was so happy. Just so happy.

"Bhaijaan ko coffee dena... Sure its gonna rain here!" She joked.

Zoya smiled, "hmm.. ya your bhaijaan apologised to me and it is supposed to rain!"

The girls shared a laugh and Zoya left with a coffee cup in her hands.
How was she supposed to approach him? she was an idiot to volunteer!

The door to Asad's room was slightly ajar. Zoya stepped inside. He was perched on the window sill, now looking at starlit skies, Tears shining in his eyes.

"Mr. Khan... " Zoya called him up.

He looked at her with such an intensity that she squirmed under his gaze.

"woh... your coffee.. actually, I made some coffee for you!" she managed to say.

To her relief, Asad's eyes softened and she was sure, he gave her a tiny smile.

"your dark black, bitter coffee!" she exclaimed as she walked closer, putting the cup on the table.

"thank you... " he whispered.

"Mr. Khan... "

"Asad... " he corrected her.

Zoya blinked.

"Asad kahiye... " he repeated for her.

Zoya acted like she was about to faint. Asad laughed.
He took a sip of his dark, black, bitter coffee.

"Mr. Khan khushiyan aayengi... " she whispered, "aapke zindgi mein aur meri zindgi mein bhi... "

Their eyes met again and she knew his father's memories, his past still haunted him. Her eyes were so full of concern from him, her words so soothing that they touched his heart.

"aur main apni zindgi ke har khushi aapke saath baatna chahta hoon.. " he replied.

Zoya turned faintly pink, but smiled.

"itne romantic kab se hogayye Mr. Kha.. " she joked hoping he would not ask her to call him Asad again. She wouldn't dare to get herself embarassed again in front of him.

To her surprise he chuckled, "tab se jab se maine aapse takraaya tha! Ab aage log mujhe paagal bhi kehdenge shayad... "

"aap toh hai hi paagal... "

"aur aap badtameez hai zoya... "

"thank you.. "

"you're welcome!"

They burst out laughing. No matter how much they enjoyed teasing, insulting each other, truth couldn't be hidden. They were always there for each other. For now and always. Najma who witnessed the scene couldn't wait to tell her ammi what she saw.

alright guys! that was moreee like a drabble. But I quite like it. coz Zoya is only one who can make Asad go mad both wid anger and laughter!

Next part :

asya have breakfast. zoya writes a shayeri for Asad and phuphi Najma have turned into CIDs to expose asya.
