Quantum Leap

Soap queen Ekta Kapoor unveiled the fourth generation of her magnum opus, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, which is scheduled to take an 18-year leap with Wednesday's episode. While the hunt is still on for the principal character, Mythili, GenNext of the Agarwal parivaar, the new stars of the show made their first public appearance on Friday. In another bid to catch eyeballs, Manish Malhotra has been roped in to style Sakshi Tanwar and give her a makeover. Tanwar who plays the lead role of Parvati will be now be seen as a svelte 60-year old. A special collection in bright pastels with a lot of pearls, net and Chantilly lace has been readied for her. Malhotra services have been put to use by Kapoor earlier for her show, Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hai. Like they say, anything for TRPs.
