I know a lot of people are going on about the Asad-Zoya hug and how beautiful that was (even if it was a dream) and as precious as that was, what trumped it for me was the father-daughter moment, from the flash back to the present and especially the look on Siddique's eye's, he clearly loves his daughter - the pain, the yearning, the hope was so beautifully portrayed in that one look that it awed me, and don't even get me started on their background score, It's so beautiful.
I had tears in my eyes watching their scene.I absolutely hated Siddique in the past but there is clearly more to him than that meets the eyes. What has become quite obvious is that he never cheated on Razia, he met Zainab before Razia and fell in love with her and had a relationship with her and had a child with her that he obviously didn't know about before he came back to India, he clearly wanted to marry Zainab but couldn't because of his parents, and maybe his parents made him marry Razia - and then Razia found out about his past and she killed Zainab, what my question is how did Siddique allow the murder of the women he was in love with? or has Razia got him in some sort of grip that he can't get himself out off and was forced to see all this injustice happen to everyone arround him? Sooo many questions! For now all I know is that he is like Rashid in a way, guilty but not completely.
I loved that scene. It was so emotional. From both sides, they were trying to find each other. Feel bad for Siddiqui. And baby Zoya was SOOO CUUUTE.
