I know you can buy DNA testing kits over the counter from pharmacies here in the US...but they are basically sample collection kits...and then you need to send the samples to a lab for the results.
You can't collect DNA from and unborn child yourself though...and I doubt such self collection kits are admissable in court.

I have read case studies of both happening in US,

i.e. officials coming to home and collecting, as well as asking the person to appear on such an such date on a particular place etc.

but in India it should be the second for sure.πŸ€“ Indian officials coming to place..!! not a chanceπŸ˜†,

may be they would send a letter/phone asking Mohit to come, police coming might be accepted since court is involved.

regarding the sample collection kit, its generally for household only! i don't think its considered as proof, but may be if its from a high end lab, i'm not so sure about the legal things.
