I cant believe there are posts on this Forum actually thinking ARVI fans would go on a hunger strike for this show!!!! WHAT:????? We are all fans of PR- that is why we are on this Forum. And ALL do agree on one thing and are united in believing this show is anything but Pavitra (Get a new title guys!). Now whoever thinks ARVI fans are going on a hunger strike are delusional.

As I said, all of us are on opposite sides, and there are different fan groups for different characters. But to think any of us would starve and go without food for this is a bunch of BS to say the least. First of all, it is obvious these CV's dont have a heart. When they can do the things they have done, what is a few starving people to them? If they see a beggar dying on the street they will simply step over them. Some might even kick him. Who knows?

And secondly, nobody here is a clown or a fool as the channel is trying to make them out to be. I have a message for Zee though. Have a little more respect for your fans, and dont come up with false statements to mess with one of your own fan groups for publicity. You obviously have no business sense. I see the dumb tweets, and then I hear that your feedback response team tried to get fresh with one of the girls who called in!!! Disgusting!!!! Ridiculous and pathetic---- and you are supposed to be the Number One Channel?? Is this proper conduct towards a child? Some of these girls are teenagers! Outrageous and Appalling to say the least!!!! That is wrong and immoral...

I will be writing a letter for this one, strongly worded, to the Chairman and Media Portals for sure.

Maybe you dont care- as you said- we can certainly change the channel. There are other shows and options for us. For us this is an entertainment and distraction from daily life. Which all of us, of course, do have.

Whats yours Zee? What happens if you lose your viewers? Then what are you going to come up with?

they exploit the fan group by showing them together in performances, zee events but in the show making them look like spineless, useless, immoral characters.

Thaks much for the info Archana!!
BUT why has Zee stooped to such low tactics? Is it because they're been pressured by ArVi fans to reunite ArVi? If so- this is no way for a family TV station to behave!! Zee should be more responsible in their actions/comments because many of its viewers are young teens!! Shame on Zee for doing this!!
BTW- how would Zee know that ArVi fans are on a hunger strike? Would the fans be camping before Zee studios in USA and before BT studio in Mumbai ? Very stupid way to gain publicity Zee!!
Anyway- what is the purpose of all this fighting? One thing I know is that ArVi will and must reunite!! Why- because my God (Jesus) told me so and He doesn't lie!!

I don't think ZEE is doing any low tactics to be very honest...If fans must have sent in letters saying they would go on hunger strike, Zee simply stated that in a tweet. Yes they will publicize the popularity of its stars, but then there are fans who are also ready to go to any lengths to prove their love for this fictional couple...The petition and constant messages to Zee are proof of that..so why would Zee not tweet about what is actually happening?

There was a huge hue and cry about Mihir virani;s death and Star plus had actually shown a segment where a huge crowd had gathered outside Ekta's house, mostly ladies to protest against his death and to ask him to come back to the show...Star plus also cashed in to show how popular their show and star was, simply because the fans created such a huge outrage over a fictional show...We are getting MOD notes saying people are so sensitive about the hunger strike so we should tone down our sarcasm...so you can imagine what a big deal this must be to ARVI fans...So why would Zee not publicize it? If people want to fast for such issues, it is not Zee who is going to write back individual letters dissuading them from doing the same.

why should Zee be more responsible for any teenagers? It is a huge production house and their main revenue comes from advertising the popularity of their shows...If anyone should be responsible it is the parents of these kids who think fasting and hunger strike to bring a fictional couple together makes sense...Zee has certainly no responsibility for this. If fans can go to lenghts to do anything wild, Zee will simply state it. They don;t need to put sense ino people

Hi Pari - I understand what you're saying but I still don't think that Zee needed to publicize 'the hunger strike' tweet -if indeed it is true! Its good to just let some things rest just for peace sake! If indeed its young persons who have said this to Zee- I can imagine how hurt they must be! Some persons are just very passionate about their desires and nothing is wrong with that BUT they just need some guidance on how to channel their zeal and zest in the right direction!
Persons want ArVi to reunite for different reasons AND for me its not about reuinon of mere fictional characters but for me its a personal spritual testimony and also for justice to be meeted out to AshVik in PR! No- I wouldn't go on a hunger strike for ArVi reunion but if I am led to, I would go on a prayer and fasting routine for a spiritual purpose because as a Christian although my battles appear to be natural- their source of origin is primarily spiritual warfare!
I still think that Zee should be more careful in what it publicizes because it should seek to be the more mature and reponsible 'person' in such a situation. In the long run- it best that persons with different views and opinions try to live as peaceably as possible with each other.😊
