I missed first 5 mins of the episode last night so saw it again and just had to write -
Mother's love -
Dukhba is in pain that her son was taken from her. She has ill-feelings towards Guman and family.
Some facts - the 'son' was a mere child when he was taken away... against his wishes. He had not seen the face of the person who saved him. Above all, he had just lost his mother in front of his eyes. He was just a young boy (can't stress this enuf)
When he left - It was not his decision
When he came back - She was the first one he tried to open up to.
The 'son' reached out to the 'mother'. Called her 'Mai'. Pleaded for help. Told her he is suffocating inside... and all she could do was pull away her feel (My heart literally broke at this!!!)
I am sorry but no mother can react like this. Even if he might be Guman's son now, it is not his fault and it definitely is not his fault that he faced a major trauma when he was too young... It is expected that he will forget some things...
But a mother being affected by 'the other woman's' words more than the son who finally returned home !!!!!
I am sorry - this is not mother's love !!!
(Ok, I might be reacting too soon and she might turn around and help him but there is no reason to be so cruel to someone who has not wronged anyone at all)
Vidyachatur's words were very apt here...
Forgiveness -
" Kissiko maaf Karne ke liye apne aapse ladna padta hai... Tum darpok ho.. Swarthi ho..." Need I say more???? !!!!
The only line that answered this aptly was Saras saying, "Main yahaan maafi maangne aaya tha" (beautiful voice modulation by GR) but she just showed her back to him for days...
I am sorry but someone needs to learn the meaning of forgiveness before throwing taunts !!!
Even if she is in love with him from even before she saw his eyes and his letter broke her heart... Fact of the matter is HE DOES NOT KNOW !!!!!
and did she love with the condition that he should love her instantly too ????
I am sorry... Overall 'Swarthi' seems to apply to... others... !!!
Is this story about a complete man - Saraswatichandra ... who faces a lot of pain so others become more balanced, mature human beings free of prejudices !!!
