Maan: Hmm..

Geet became happy but didn't show that to him. She moved from there and when she was about to step out of the cabin, she heard Maan's voice.

Maan: Geet'Umm if you want I can come with you.

Geet was shocked, but was very happy as he asked her by himself not in pressure of anyone. But she was in trouble too as she didn't him to accompany her. She turned around and was looking downwards. Hesitancy was oozing out from her face. She knew that she needs a valid reason to say no to him. Maan was looking at her, eagerly waiting for her to say yes. Though he was pretending that he just care for her, but his heart knew how much he was affected hearing that she is not well.

Geet: Wo..wo mujhe gynac ke paas jana hai'to mai soch rahi thi ki mai pinky ko apne saath le jao.

Maan understood her dilemma and nodded his head.

Maan: Take my car and call me if you need any help.

Geet nodded and went from there. She went to Pinky first and then both headed to their destination. Geet told everything to Pinky and Pinky agreed to help her.

On the other side Maan was worried about Geet. After about an hour he called her. Geet picked the call.

Maan: Hello Geet'are you okay?

Geet: Ji mai thik hu.

Maan: Doctor ne kya kaha?

Geet: Nothing serious, just weakness hai. Doctor kuch tests karna chahte hai to isliye mujhe thoda late ho jayega.

Maan: Ok, and after that don't come to office. Ghar chali jana and I will meet you there.

Geet: Ji.

Maan was a little relaxed now. He quickly finished his every meeting and headed for home. When he reached home, Geet was already there chatting with Dadima. Maan didn't ask her anything at that time as Dadima would be worried. After the dinner, when they were in their room, he enquired her about her health. She replied that she was fine. And so he didn't pester her more. Next day though Maan asked her to stay at home, but she was stubborn to go to office, and he agreed. At lunch hour, she came to him.

Geet: Maan Sir'wo actually meri tabiyat kuch thik nahi hai. Can I go home.

This happened for around one month; daily Geet used to come to office but left during the lunch hours on the pretext of illness. Maan was very worried for her, as whenever he asked her she all the time told him that this is normal for women and not to worry. He was irritated as well as anxious; anxious as Geet was unwell, as per his knowledge, from a month, and irritated because she was not telling him anything clearly. After a month, Maan was hell irritated, he decided to talk to Dadima, thought Geet might have told Dadima. He went to Dadima.

Maan: Dadima'wo mujhe aapse ek important baat karni hai.

Dadima: Ha Bete, boliye.

Maan: Dadima Geet ko kya hua hai?

Dadima (confused): Beta hum samjhe nahi aap kis baare me baat kar rahe hai.

Maan understood that Geet didn't tell anything to Dadima. He thought of taking Dadima's help to know about Geet's illness.

Maan: Dadima'Geet is not well since last month. Shayad usne aapko isliye nahi bataya ki kahi aap pareshaan na ho jaye. I asked her and she told me that this is normal. Since last month she used to come to office but for half day.

Dadima (tensed and angry): Agar Geet ne nahi bataya to kam se kam aapko to hume batana chahiye tha na. One month ho gaya or aap dono me se kisi ne hame batane ki jarurat nahi samjhi. Hum abhi Geet se baat karte hai.

Dadima went from there to talk to Geet and here Maan was feeling guilty. He thought that Dadima was right, at least he should have told Dadima, she might be of some help. He too went to Geet, but didn't enter the room. He was standing outside the room listening, he didn't come in as he thought Geet wouldn't be comfortable in telling in front of him. Inside the room,

Dadima: Geet aapne hume bataye kyu nahi ki aapki tabiyat thik nahi hai. Hume abhi abhi Maan ne bataya. He was so worried for you Beta.

Geet: Dadima aap tension nahi lijiye meri tabiyat bilkul thik hai. Maine Maan Sir se jhoot bola tha.

Dadima was perplexed while Maan was shocked. He felt betrayed. His anger rose and he left from there, didn't care to hear more.

Dadima (confused): Jhoot'par aapne jhoot kyu bola?

Geet: Dadima mai wo aapko abhi nahi bata sakti. Lekin I will tell you very soon. Aapko mujh par vishwas to hai na.

Dadima (smiled, patted her cheek): Hume aap par poora vishwas hai. Hum jaante hai ki aap kabhi koi galat kaam nahi karegi'.lekin bte Maan ko aapki bahut chinta ho rahi hai. Unhe aap keh dijiye ki ab aap thik hai. Agar aapko office se off chahiye to hum Maan se keh dege ki hume aapki ghar me jarurat hai.

Geet: Nahi Dadima mujhe off nahi chahiye mera kaam almost complete ho gaya hai. Or aap chinta mat kijiye mai Maan Sir se aaj hi keh dugi ki meri tabiyat ab bilkul thik hai.

Back to Maan, he came to his gym. He was outraged, how dare she lied to him. He was hell worried for her and here she was playing with his emotions. He fisted his hand on the wall. His eyes were red with clenching jaws. Though he was angry, but it was more of a pain; a pain that she did not trust him enough to share anything, a pain that she lied to him, a pain that she did not understand his worry for her, a pain that she did not understand his care and love''love...He got more angry on himself.

Maan (to himself): What the hell I was thinking'.Love'..No it can't be love'.it can never be love'.(he very harshly kicked the table beside him)'..Never'Ever'Maine socha tha Geet ki tum un selfish ladkiyo jaisi nahi ho, you don't care for money and high society. But no I was wrong'I was utterly wrong'..You are just like them'.selfish, hypocrite, money minded, liar'Whatever you are but you can't trap me'.Mai bhi dekhta hu tum kab tak mujhse jhoot bolti ho'.I want to see how low you can stoop'.Or uske baad you will see the real Maan Singh Khurana.

Evening arrived, Geet was at home chatting with Dadima and Vicky; rather say discussing about her plan. Maan arrived there with long strides. He was hell angry and decided to end it today only. He looked at her, she was chirping happily.

Maan (thought furiously): You can never be happy after cheating me Geet.

Maan (roared): Geeettt'.

Trio looked at the source of voice, and was shocked seeing Maan so angry. Maan moved towards Geet with fierce eyes. Geet got scared seeing him like this. He harshly clutched her elbow and pulled her towards himself. He was clutching her elbow so roughly that she winced in pain. His eyes were giving her fiery glares. Dadima and Vicky got worried.

Dadima (worriedly): Maan ye aap kya kar rahe hai''..Maan chodiye Geet ko'..you are hurting her'

Vicky (shocked): Bro what happened'why are you behaving like this'.

Maan (still looking at Geet with blazing eyes): You should ask this to Geet'.not me.

Geet was confused and so did Dadima and Vicky.

Maan (sarcastically): Kyu Geet tumne kabhi bataya nahi ki KC tumhara papaji ka hai ki jab mood aaya office aa gayi, or jab mann kiya chali gayi.

Maan's statement pinched her hard, her pain was coming out from her eyes in the form of tears. Maan at that time was so angry that he gave damn to here tears. Geet was looking at Maan with ached heart. Even Dadima and Vicky were hurt seeing Maan's cold behavior towards Geet.

Dadima (angrily): Maan aapko pata bhi hai aap kya bol rahe hai'.

Maan (still looking at Geet): Dadima please I am talking to my wife'.so please don't interfere.

Dadima (angrily): Hum bhi aapko yehi keh rahe hai that you are talking to your wife'.not your servant.

Maan (after a moment): Now I got it'.yehi tha na tumhara plan ki sabko apni taraf karke tum ye saari property apne naam kar lo'
