Thank you Gul Khan

First of I would like to sincerely thank Gul and her team for giving us IPK and ARHI. She had a wonderful vision that was translated on screen by her very talented team👍🏼

I just read your latest phone interview with Viraf! Why can't Gul find a reporter to talk to directly? What's with all these conversations with her actors and potential actors😕. However few things that stood out in the tete-e-tete:

1) One of Gul's first interviews post IPK closure other than the chai session with our dear Sanaya; and not a word about the show that gave her so much popularity. Many people were upset with Barun and Sanaya for not wanting to talk repeatedly about IPK post its closure. I guess this will help them move on especially since the Creative Head who was so passionate about continuing it by completely killing the essence of the story has truly moved on as well.

2) Thank you for mentioning that you too would like to venture into Bollywood and are infact already working on a script. Does not make you unprofessional does it; since you are working on a script along side your new baby QH. Good luck with that!

3) Finally you too are now talking about the importance of better budgets and seasons in Indian TV. Finally more and more people are opening up about the facelift that Indian TV really does need.

4) Finally I wish you luck with QH; My hopes for the top show in the next 6 months lie with ChanChann but I do hope QH does well; esp. since the lead is already looking unkept, worn out and haggard just 4 months into the show.

Well my 2 cents

- No mention of IPK or its influence. Well good for her. Obviously IPK was not her baby or else 'the story wouldn't have run course'

- When IPK was being directed the leads never had decent costumes, hell they had only one room which served as Arnav-Khushi's room as well as Shyam-Anjali's room. And Khushi had repeated so many costumes and Arnav had only 2 suits. And no outdoor shoots. And now Gul comes back saying TV's need better budgets. Well at least she woke up now.

- And she is all okay to do a bollywood film but hell her leads can't venture out to do different things. Thanks for the clarification.

- And for the bashers of Barun who are still bashing him for not mentioning IPK after a dozen interviews, hell I don't see the creative mentioning it in her 2nd interview after the closure. So it is okay if the creative moves on but wrong if Barun or Sanaya move on.

And lastly but not least I do hope Chanchan topples QH at the TRP charts. Sanaya at last got a PH which is doing great job by giving her decent costumes and is promoting her well. The costumes that Sanaya got are way prettier than this PH ever could provide to her. And the promotion of Sanaya is awesome with billboards and TV segments. This PH could never promote and forget that never acknowledge the work their leads have done for IPK. So I would definitely want Chanchan to top the TRPs and hope it will.

To be fair with Gul this interview was taken by Viraf as he was the editor of the week at Tellychakkar and he has to take interviews of his friends/acquaintance.

Thank you Gul khan for not mentioning IPK and actors at all in your interview, show that made you.
I guess that doesn't make you unprofessional and wanting to move on to bigger things.

Yes the leaking of the news was the MOST unprofessional thing to do especially since the journalist herself mentioned that Barun was under contract to not say anything which is why he kept quiet. Anyways i could not be happier that Barun and Sanaya have moved on and away from such a "professional" bunch of people.

To be fair to 4Lions ... They were never the financial producer of the show ... They were only the creative producer.

No one will blame her as she is the one who created IPK, so if she mentions its name or not is not an issue here. Other people should say only abt IPK whenever an interview is taken of them, be it when they are talking about their upcoming projects or an interview based on some other things.
