I think you mean Kumud's Foiba whom she calls badimaa (Bua in Hindi) ... Badimaa is Kumud's Dad's Sister and Mausimaa is Kumud's Mother but Saras calls her mom mausima because his mom and kumud's mom were good friends like sisters ..

And If you remember from the first few episodes, they mention some kind of problem occuring at badimaa's sasuraal which is why she lives in her maayka. They have not revealed Kumari's father in the show yet.
