I know I'm reaching here but hear me out - 😆

Asad may not want to give in to Zoya's love but he's no dummy. He smartly guessed that Zoya was signalling someone for operation Laal Roomal 😆

Wouldn't he have known the difference in his childhood friend that he hasn't seen in so many years?

All those questions about what she remembered about him served two purposes - 1) to make Zoya jealous and 2) to quiz this girl

He knows Zoya's capability and even though she's a bit clumsy at times, he's had enough experience to know that she really can fix anything. He would have doubted that she would have left the gas on and the blow up was really a way to release him emotions - afraid for her and his family.

Secondly, if Tanveer remembers everything about him then the allergy thing was a dead giveaway. Why would she purposefully try to hurt him? To prevent him from going to court so the dialogue was for Tanveer not for Zoya.

I know its reaching and maybe putting too much smarts behind this but I thing it would be a great angle for Asad and I think he has a suspicion but needs the evidence to prove it.

This is where Supergirl Zoya comes in to save the day! 😃
