Unsaid Feelings.

Khushi was dumbfounded after that peck. She thought her lips were paralysed and could not even move a centimetre. Her legs were like stuck to the ground. Still standing in the same way he caught her, for some time she could not move her body.

"Khushi?" Kavita asked after seeing her in the same position for minutes. She kept her hand on her shoulder."Are you alright?"

Khushi got out of her reverie. She looked at Kavita and then realized the awkward state in which she was standing. She started seeing in all the directions, trying to hide her blush.

"You miss him already? Just a day, love! He loves you a lot!" Kavita smiled.

"Hmm." Was all Khushi managed to utter.

"Come. Ill show you your room."

Kavita took her hand and Khushi followed her to the door in the extreme corner of the living room. Kavita opened the door and led Khushi in. It was a beautiful room with wooden floorings and a huge balcony which, again, showed the exotic beach view. Khushi was in awe after the seeing the bedroom. Most of the essentials like the bed, wardrobe were still in the same place.

"This is the master bedroom. Ram and my room. Now yours." Kavita smiled.

"Its beautiful, Kavita ji!"

"I know. I designed it. You can keep the bed and the cupboard if you wish."

"Yes, I do. And the bed looks great with this off white colour of the room."

"You know, I always loved it. Anyway, why don't you unpack your stuff and then help me. Till then I just can gather my clothes."

"Okay. I have no right in asking you this, but where will you live now?"

"I'm going to my son, Arjun's place who lives at Vancouver along with his wife and two children. It was basically my daughet-in-law's idea to get me there as she knew how nostalgic I felt here."

"Vancouver is a pretty place."

"I know."

The entire day just went too fast. Khushi completely decorating the room as it was her room now. She changed the blankets, cleaned the room, added a soft whit carpet. She went to the antics shop and bought an antique chair to adorn the balcony. She changed the white tube lights to soft dim yellow lights. She hanged some photo frames of her family including her father, her sister Payal and her buaji.

Khushi finished with her room assorting and helped Kavita with her packing. Kavita, who lived in the guest room, which Khushi decided to give Arnav, cleared all the drawers and cupboards. Khushi felt that Kavita was trying to be happy.

"What do you do for a living?'' Kavita asked while they were still packing her stuff.

"I'm an intern at Prince Wales Hospital. I also baby sit side-by-side."

"Wow! Independent, huh? What does Arnav do?"

"He's a business man." Khushi said, after thinking.

"And what business?"

"Umm.. We have a constructing house. Gupta.. err.. Raizada Constructions!" Wow. Khushi thought. Kavita smiled to this.

The entire evening passed as the both the ladies finished with packing stuff. Kavita decided to cook something but as she realized it was too late and she was tired, they decided to order some pizzas. They ate, talked and just talked about everything.. about life! Khushi told her everything regarding her family. And also, she made up a story when Kavita asked her about her marriage. I really deserve an Oscar after all the stories I've made up in a day!

Both the ladies headed towards the bed.

Next morning. at around 7, Kavita had gone for a quick jog as she believed exercise can't be compromised even if I had to leave my place! She informed Khushi before leaving who still was deep asleep in her dreams.

There was a knock on the door around 7.30. When the door bell nearly rung for about 5 minutes, Khushi finally got up, realizing that Kavita was not at home. Yawning profusely and straightening her clothes she got up from her bed. She opened the door to see Arnav standing in front of her with all the baggages and suit case.

Arnav saw Khushi who was wearing an ultra small blue teddy shorts with a white tunic. Her feet were covered with pink socks. He looked at her and just kept looking. For him, she just looked-radiant! She was still half asleep but later popped her eyes immediately as she saw Arnav.

Arnav thought, Wow! This girl looks pretty in that messed up hair and socks. How I wish.. UMm ! Arnav you creepo! Spare her at least! How will I live with this beauty?

She looked at him and left. "Kavita ji is not at home. Take the room to that corner."

she ordered him.

"Ill wake you up once she comes?"

"No! I'll get up! Don't enter my room."

After sometime Kavita came. She packed her final belongings. Also, Arnav and Khushi signed the contract given by her. Arnav went into Khushi's room uptil Kavita was there and kept all his belongings therein. Also, about the marriage certificate, Arnav assured her that he would fax or email her as he he was going to make a fake one. Kavita bid adieu to them and left in her car.

Now Arnav and Khushi were alone in this house for an entire year!

Sorry, this update didn't consist much of our hunk Arnav but from now, my updates will only concentrate on them. Let's see how their life unfolds and how they discover everything about each other. A road both have to pass through! Ting! :)
