Awesome..~! love the way VirMan's bond has strenghten...but both r on denial...but for how long...N Virat thinks he can get over it once she isn't around...but lookin forward for the next...wana know what the surprise n shock..? Virat says maanvi behna...😆 ok i know i am bad but u have mentioned in this update it would b there for some time...so is it continued to d next...😊 Waiting for the next Update Kajal..~!

Chapter 6_superb update kajal...👍🏼...really loved it...😃...manvi n jeevikaa bonding was cute as usual..😊...n also loved the bonding between her n mom...the song sequence was fabulous...the way virat sing the song looking at manvi...hayee......

Chapter 7_As usual kajal marvelous update...the way u described the feelings of both was juz fantastic...both of manvi and virat feelings were well portrayed👏👏..so virman become best friends...kehte hainaa pyaar ki pehli step dosti hai...😉...dosti bhi toh gehri dosti ...juz loved it...virat feeling for manvi is juz growing...😉...yayy...n manvi also having some feeling for virat...😃...kab samjhe ke yeh dono...😛...loved every bit of the update...the way virat comfort manvi...awwn...it was juz so sweet...😳...but the end was sad...virat going away from manvi...hmm...now eagerly waiting for next update...thank u so much for the pm...

Hey Kajal, sorry for being late.The 6th chapter was so cool. Manvi and Jeevika's shopping scene was so natural and the result was awesome. I wish you would've added some pictures for the better visualization of their appearance, 😆.

Manvi's convo with her mother was so cute. Virat sang for Manvi so cool 😎.

The 7th chapter is really a treat to read. Thanx for such a long update. It was really amazing that Virat remembered everything about Manvi and actually helped her out, great Virat 👏.They are feeling jealous for each other in their own hemispheres.

Now this is going to be interesting as Manvi started feeling for him and he is getting a little cynical.

Virat thought about her as " His SISTER " , a huge blow for me 😭(thank God it was only temporarily) but then again circumstances forced him to think so.

I am feeling bad but hoping good for them.

Chapter-8

*Manvi's POV*

As soon as I got the phone call from Virat in the morning I
knew something was up. Why? Because the conversation went a little something like
this...

"Hii Virat!" I exclaimed as soon as I pressed answer.

"Yeah um.. hi." I heard him say in a bored tone.
That was so unlike Virat, he would usually answer with a cheeky comment or
something loud but he never just answered with a plain old 'hi.'

"Whats wrong?" I said with concern clear in my
voice.

"Why would anything be wrong?" Virat asked in a
cold tone.

I flinched at his tone but didn't comment on it.

"Oh umm... no reason your just kinda acti- You know
what, nevermind. What's up?" I changed the conversation.

"Look we're going on tour tomorrow so you and Jeevika
should come over today so we could hang out with you guys for the last time in
2 months." Virat said bluntly.

"What!? Your going on tour tomorrow? FOR TWO MONTHS?
Why didn't you tell me?" I asked with hurt clear in my voice now.

"Look can you guys come or what!? Karan was supposed to
ask you but he left the stupid job for me and I really don't want to so could
we make this conversation move a little faster!" He said coldly.

Ouch, okay that hurt a lot. He was acting very cold and
distant... what's up with that? We're best friends!

Yeah, some best friend he is.

"Oh um...okay. We'll just come with Jeevika's
car." I said not wanting to sit through a car ride with moody Virat.

"Okay. Bye." He said with an annoyed tone.

"Bye, luff choo." I tried but he simply hung up.

I slammed the phone on my bed and a few tears escaped my
eyes.

"Hey cookie, do you know where my scarf i- Oh my god
sweetie what's wrong!?" Jeevika rushed over to my side crushing me into a hug.

I sobbed into her shoulder as she stroked my back.

"Hey, it's okay sweetie. I don't like seeing my wifey
cry." She said and I giggled slightly pulling away.

Jeevika sat on my bed and looked at me with such a concerned
look it made my heart swell up. The boys and I's friendship is very strong but
nothing in the world can beat me and Jeevika's friendship. Even if we're a
little distant sometimes we'll always be there for each other. "I honestly
don't really know what's wrong," I confessed,

"Virat just called me and he...he was very cold and
distant and just...rude.

He was like my best friend and now for no complete reason
he's acting like a complete jerk! And I don't know what to do because as far as
I know I did nothing wrong." I said a couple more tears falling.

Jeevika wiped them away and kissed my cheek "He's a
jerk than but something is telling me this is bothering you a lot more than it
should." Jeevika said looking at me in the eye. "It is." I
confessed again. "Why?" Jeevika asked stroking my hair. After a long
pause I finally replied,

"Because I think I'm falling for him."

*Virat's POV*

My heart ached as I heard the hurt in Manvi's voice but I
shrugged it off. I can't be having feelings for this girl so the best way is to
be a jackass. I have to ignore her, be mean, cold, distant, and sooner or later
the feelings might just disappear.

I keep telling myself that but I have a feeling it won't
just go away that fast.

I mean, it's pretty clear already I have feelings for her
but I keep telling myself it's just a small crush that might go away.

But sometimes I can't help but think...what if this is more
than just a little crush?

What if me and her could be something real? What if this
is...lo- No, NO! She doesn't like me like that and she never will. She made it
pretty clear herself but I didn't get fazed by it earlier.

I told myself I would keep trying and I did.

But now it's pretty clear that she only wants to be friends
and it actually hurts. Why does it hurt so much?

"Virat, the girls are here!" I heard Barun yell.
Oh no... how can I fight these feelings... I have to try.

Remember the plan. Be cold and distant. Show her you don't
care. Be mean.

I went downstairs to see the girls still greeting the guys.

Manvi was hugging Karan at the moment and I bit back a
growl. I glared daggers at Karan's back.

I did this everytime one of them touches her too much, I
can't help it.

I hugged Jeevika as she came to greet me but something in
her eyes told me that she was mad at me. I'm guessing Manvi told her of our
earlier conversation. Manvi made her way over to me.

I felt my heart race and I mentally kicked myself for
feeling that way. "Hi Viru." She said nervously looking at me.

"Hi." I replied coldly looking away. "Could
we ... um... talk?" She asked gently. Ugh, why is she so nice?

Can't she just get pissed that I'm acting like a jackass and
leave me alone?

I looked up to see pain in her eyes and all I wanted to do
was hold her in my arms telling her how sorry I am. "No." I replied
stiffly walking away to the boys who were already setting up for a movie
marathon.

They decided since it's our last time with the girls we
should do what we always love to do, a movie marathon.

At these usually me and Manvi always sit next to each other
but I sat next to Karan purposely ignoring her.

She seemed to get the message since she made her way to sit
next to Arjun who instantly put his arm around her. Jealousy overtook me and I
wanted to punch Arjun square in the face. Whoa, where did that come from?

I never want to punch Arjun. He's...Arjun.

Nobody can punch that lovable cute foody guy but seeing him
put his arm around Manvi made me want to do way more than just punch him. But I
just started at them no emotion clear on my face.

Manvi's eye's met mine and my heart split in half as I saw
the look in her eye. She looked at me with pain, heartbreak, sorrow, and worst
of all... disappointment. I looked away.

The whole day has been kind of awkward. The boys could sense
that I've been ignoring Manvi and were glaring at me. Manvi was like their
little sister, of course they were gonna get mad at me. Manvi was still in Arjun's
embrace, a look of sadness on her beautiful face.

Jeevika was worst of all. Her glare was so deadly I almost
died right there. As for me, I stayed quiet the entire time bottling up my
emotions. I bottled up all my feelings for Manvi and soon enough I became
emotionless. But inside all I really wanted to do was go up to Manvi and admit
all my feelings for her. But of course I couldn't for 2 reasons.

1: I'm a coward.

2: Virat Vadhera can't handle rejection.

*Manvi's POV*

This whole night has just been plain awkward since everybody
was sensing something was wrong. At about 12 o clock I spoke up "We should
probably get leaving, you guys have to wake up early to catch your plane."

Protests came from all the boys except Virat of course.
"Sorry guys but Manvi's right." Jeevika said getting up as well.

All the boys came up to us. Here come the goodbyes... I went
up to Sameer first. He grabbed me into a bone breaking hug. I buried my face in
his chest. "I'm going to miss you so much." He said kissing my
forehead.

"I'm going to miss you too." I replied. I got on
my tippy toes and gave him a kiss of the cheek. "Bye big bro."

I said. He smiled softly "Bye little sis."

I went up to Barun next as he finished saying bye to Jeevika.
He grabbed me in a tight hug.

"I'm going to miss my little Manvi. Who am I going to
protect and lecture on tour?" Barun said sadly stroking my hair. I
giggled.

"I'm going to miss you too but don't worry you still
have Arjun to protect and Karan to lecture." He laughed giving me a peck
on the cheek. I went to Karan who looked gutted. He pulled me in to a hug
lifting me from the ground. I buried my face into his shoulder.

"Ah, I'm going to miss these hugs." He said. I
giggled and after about half an hour of hugging pulled away giving him a tender
kiss on the cheek. "I'm gonna miss you Grovo." He frowned replying
"I'm gonna miss you too Mannu." I smiled sadly and walked to Arjun.

He had tears glistening in his eyes as he pulled me in for a
hug. "I'm going to miss you so much Manvi." Arjun sobbed into my
neck. "Hey it's okay Arjun. It's only for 4 months." I soothed him
rubbing his back. frowned into my
shoulder, "I can't even be away from you for 4 hours Mannu!" I
giggled and gave him a peck of the cheek.

I looked at Virat who was glaring at Arjun. I shot him a
questioning look but he just looked at me with a blank expression.

I made my way to him making sure everyone was out of ear
shot.

"Bye." I said my voice of cracking slightly. For a
second I thought a look of sadness and regret crossed Virat's face but it left
as soon as it appeared.

He just gave me head nod and I left. As soon as me and Jeevika
were inside our flat I let the tears come out.

Jeevika pulled me into a hug rubbing my back soothingly
"It's okay sweetie... hey guess what?" She said.

I pulled away and looked at her with curious eyes
"What?" I asked. "Tomorrow your gonna meet my new boyfriend.
You'll love him." I giggled and nodded excitedly.

She laughed too "Kay, now go to bed cutie." I got
into bed and cuddled with my pillow. I kept tossing and turning but I couldn't
fall asleep.

Usually I would go to sleep in Jeevika's bed in this
situation but right now I just wanna think. My thoughts drifted back to when I
met Virat. I'll admit when I met him I didn't like him at all. He was far to
cocky and flirty for my liking. Then I started talking to him more and I found
out he was sweet and funny. There was a whole different side of him he never
showed people.

I loved that side. Soon we became somewhat friends. Or
flirting buddies... well actually he would flirt with me and I would ignore
him. But then that changed and we became best friends.

The best of friends...but then Virat decided to ruin it. I
knew from the beginning that getting involved with an arrogant popstar would be
trouble. Virat suddenly didn't like our friendship anymore so he decided to be
cold and distant. Maybe I just wasn't good enough anymore.

Why was I over-analyzing this?

Why do I care so much? If he wants me out of his life so bad
without an explanation than fine... his wish is granted. Congratulations Vadhera
you officially lost me.
